glass sulators Accessories and Features Lockg Devices The plant manufactures sulators with W-clips and split-ps, which corresponds to the Russian and ternational standards. Split-p provides more reliable couplg a strg, as the cross-section area of the split-p is 2 times more than the crosssection area of the W-clip. The sertion of split-ps and bendg of the legs are made at the plant. It is necessary to note, that with such a universal couplg it is possible to make a strg of sulator units with different types of lockg devices. Insulator with W-clip Insulator with split-p Zc Sleeves The characteristics of sulators with a zc sleeve fully correspond to those of sulators without it. The zc sleeve, beg "a sacrificial electrode", prevents for a long time from corrosion of a p caused by d.c. and environmental conditions (a tropical climate). 1. Cap. 2. Lockg device (split-p). 3. It resulted a slight shrkage, this case creases the clearance between the glass and cement bond. In some cases the creased clearance can lead to a rotation of the p relative to the glass by a few degrees. This rotation arises from the manual effort with characteristic clickg noise. This phenomenon disappears once you move the sulator to the atmosphere with normal conditions or beg under load when assemblg on the le. This phenomenon does not affect an sulator performance. 11 9
Packg packg Packet with Crates Slat and Wire Package Sea Packet (SP) Each packet with crates cludes several wooden crates placed on the pallet. For packg manufacture the "screwrged" nails are used. They have rg grooves on the stem that create the additional friction force and the nails keep the nailed timber more fixedly. The pallet packer wraps round the packet with sulators by strechtape a few layers to strengthen it for transport to the consumer.
