The Helsinki University of Technology selected the DCN Next Generation Conference System from Bosch as the new audio-visual system. The flush mounted dual delegate units are specially designed in close cooperation with architect Sähkötaso Esitystekniikka. The unique design combined with the brass material gives the panels a sense of luxury. Each panel contains facilities for voting, badge-card reader, high standard microphone and loudspeaker. Custom-designed Product Solutions 7 Custom-designed Loudspeaker Solutions The Custom-designed Product Solutions Group can tailor any Bosch loudspeaker type ceiling, cabinet, column or horn for use in a specific environment. Any color that matches a given design scheme can be applied to the loudspeaker s casing, rim or grill whatever meets the need. Textured coatings, like wood or marble can be used, or special coatings can be implemented to resist chemicals, humidity or seawater. Loudspeaker s casing can even be changed to blend in with the building s interior. For extreme acoustically challenging situations, the loudspeaker can be modified to fine-tune the speaker s performance and tested in Bosch s anechoïc rooms.
