It was upside-down, halfburied in the trench which allowed the access to the Tobruk, and covered with vegetation, so it was hidden for 49 years. Mr Van Meeven, helped by Moëlan townhall employees and friends of the St-Marcel Resistance Museum, took one day to save this old relic. After several hours, the turret was extracted from its hole with a 10-ton crane. It was cleaned and put on its original Tobruk. On the back of the turret were found French 1940 Tank Battalions markings, 2 red Ace of Heart on a white square.
