Apply TrūShine Base Coat and cure, then apply TrūShine Top Coat and cure. After curing the Top Coat, remove the tacky surface with a Nail Prep Wipe. To use gel under nail wraps: Apply gel as directed. Lightly buff the surface of the gel. Clean completed nail with Nail Prep Wipe and allow to dry completely. Apply nail wrap as directed. Note: Never layer nail wraps in between gel base coat and top coat. These formulas must be used together in order to cure correctly.
Q. Could my TrūShine Gel Enamel peel off? Your Gel Enamel will have a lasting finish if your nails are properly prepped prior to application. Here are a few prepping tips for a lasting manicure or pedicure: Wash your hands and nails after you remove your regular nail lacquer or wraps and before gel application. Once you have filed and pushed your cuticles back, be sure to buff the entire surface of your nails. Be careful not to over buff as this could damage your natural nails. Remove the dust and thoroughly clean your nails with a Nail Prep Wipe. Then proceed with your application. Use the Jamberry Nail Prep Wipes or Jamberry Nail Cleanser with a lint-free wipe to cleanse your nails. Do not cleanse your nails with acetone. Q. The tips of my TrūShine Gel Enamel are becoming discolored, how do I correct this? The discoloration of the gel is a result of the product being applied too thickly on the edges of the fingernails. If the gel is under-cured as a result of the product being applied too thickly, then it will absorb dirt or dyes and become discolored. To correct this, remove the gel and reapply with thin, even coats. LED CURING LAMP: Q. What is the difference between LED and UV Curing Lamps? The TrūShine Gel Enamel LED Curing Lamp is not a UV lamp. LED curing lamps use a technology that is new relative to UV. The Jamberry LED Curing lamp cures gel polish in half the time of UV lamps, does not generate heat, and the LED bulbs do not need to be replaced. Q. Does the LED Curing Lamp emit UV rays? All types of lights emit UV rays, they just differ in wavelength and intensity. LED lights do emit UV rays, but at a lower internsity than common UV lamps found in salons and tanning beds. Q. Why won t my gel cure properly? After you've cured your top coat, there is generally a tacky surface left behind. This does not mean that you have under-cured your nails, the residue simply needs to be wiped clean with a Nail Prep Wipe. If you are still noticing excess residue left on the nail, ensure that you have followed all application instructions completely. If you notice that your gel still isn t curing to a high-gloss finish, try these tips: Be sure the LED lamp turns on when you press the white button at the top. Leave nails in the LED lamp for the full cure time. Make sure to position your hand in the center of the lamp, all the way inside so the LED Curing Lamp completely covers your fingertips. Clean the inside reflector surface of the LED Curing Lamp if cloudy or soiled.
Q. I can t fit all five fingers into the LED Curing Lamp. How do I cure my nails? We recommend applying the gel enamel to four fingers on a single hand and curing. Make sure to finish the entire gel application process on the first four fingers before applying to any others. Repeat the same steps on the other hand. Then, apply the gel enamel to both thumbs and cure them together. Make sure to position your hand in the center of the lamp, all the way inside so the LED Curing Lamp completely covers your fingertips. Q. Does the LED Curing Lamp come with a warranty? Yes, Jamberry will replace any curing lamp that is defective or breaks within 90 days of the order date. REMOVAL: Q. How do I remove Jamberry TrūShine Gel Enamel? We recommend using the TrūShine Gel Enamel Remover Pockets for the most effective removal process: Step 1: Tear open Gel Remover Pocket along the dotted line. Peel the plastic shield from the outside of the Remover Pocket, revealing the adhesive strip. Step 2: Insert finger into the Remover Pocket, positioning nail against the moistened pad. Fold the Remover Pocket around the finger, sealing the adhesive strip to itself. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. Step 3: Remove Gel Remover Pocket from finger. Using an orange stick, gently slide off remaining gel residue, starting at the base of the cuticle and working up to the free edge of the nail. If gel residue does not easily slide off the nail, repeat previous step until removed. Step 4: Repeat on all fingers until gel is completely removed. Wash hands thoroughly and apply Cuticle Oil to maintain healthy nails. Q. My TrūShine Gel Enamel is not soaking off completely when I follow the removal directions. How do correct this? Chances are your application was too thick. Re-apply the Remover Pockets until the gel easily flakes off of the nail. For your next application, apply thinner coats.
