Color Lift for Correction/Camouflage Correction and Camouflage are used for hiding minor errors and mistakes including: Minor control loss Nitpicky alterations Shape Change Last minute mind changes Final Adjustments Years of enduring poor quality work Color Lift is a great remover solution for correction and camouflage. It can lift out the unwanted pigment from the skin immediately, or even, years after. CONSULTATION: Advise and ensure the customer understands that corrections require multiple services to get the best-possible results*. Different Price ranges for packages of 2, 3, or 5 procedures or by individual charges for each service. *DISCLAIMER: Never over promise the result. You are only performing a camouflage service; the skin can never be replaced or returned to its natural state. TERMS: - Pointillism- The technique of holding the machine in a 90⁰ angle straight up, and applying pigment in a small dot by dot method to the skin. 1

- Camouflage- The technique of applying skin tone pigment to cover unwanted pigment and hide the mistake. - Blend- Gradually fading out the removal area to match with the natural skin tone. - Mixture- The combination of two or more pigments. Magic Color Nude White Beige 2

- Renewal Pigment- The pre-made Corrective Pigments used to restore the color back to brown shades include: Purple, Blue, Orange, and Pink Brow renewer. Blue Eyeliner Renewer, and Blue Lip Renewer - Skin tone- The natural color of the skin (refer to Fitzpatrick Scale, 1-6 scale of light to dark tones) - Removal Area- The unwanted wrong pigment area. - Color Lift- A Removal Solution added to the pigment mixture to create a compound for camouflage work. SET-UP: Magnifying Lamp- Set up and use for close identification of the work area and finding all spots in need of pigment. Machine- For perfect correction work and efficiency, 2-3 separate Biotouch machines should be used for individual color mixtures to achieve best results. Needle: Use 3, 5 or 7 prong round-needles depending on the size of the area. Use the 3- Flat Needle for the lines. Color Lift- Pigment Lifting Removal Solution Camouflage Pigments- Beige, Magic Color, Nude, Skin, Yellow, White and any other brow shades if needed for the mixture. Anesthetics- Bio Quick, Instant Numb, Bio Gel, Vera Gel After Care- Bio Care, Bacitracin Choosing the right Mixture: Combine the camouflage pigments in a mixture to find the appropriate skin tone matching color. It s best to have multiple (3-5) mixtures. 3

Needle Depths Apply the different mixtures on the skin with a Q-Tip in order to evaluate and choose the correct usage of the color. The lightest color mixture will be used for covering the darkest removal area The 2 nd lightest color mixture can be used for covering and blending the 2 nd darkest area The most matching skin color is the Skin Tone Mixture, used for blending. Discard any mixture that is darker than the skin tone. Darkest Removal Area requires deeper penetration 2nd Darkest Area needs less penetration Blending should lightly fade out from the border to the skin in a circular pattern gradually. 4

CAMOUFLAGE Color Lift Proportion to Pigment: 5-10 drops of Color Lift added with each pigment mixture (depending on the darkness of the removal area) A. Less drops of Color Lift for a more concentrated pigment mixture and use for darker removal area. B. More drops of Color Lift can be used to dilute the pigment mixture and work for a lighter removal area. CORRECTION: Restoring faded pigment back to its original color or refresh/change the desired shade by add/applying renewer pigment to make a satisfactory result. Renewal Pigment- For correction of Purple, Blue, Orange, Pink Brow, Blue Eyeliner or Blue lip, depending on the correction type, 5-10 drops of Color Lift can be added to the renewer pigment. 5

Blue Brow Purple Brow Pink-Orange Brow Blue Lip Blue Eyeliner INSTRUCTIONS: A. Accuracy: Holding the machine in a 90⁰ angle straight up, maintain accuracy by using the pointillisin method, dot by dot, only and directly on the removal spot with the correct choice of pigment mixture. B. Identification: It s important to use a magnifier to look for the unwanted pigment area/dots. With close visibility, dark spots, light spots or empty spaces can be clearly identified. Most times even different shades of colors can be seen. C. Appropriate Application Camouflage 6

Depending on the darkness of the removal area in different spot, use correct mixtures. 1. Apply the lightest mixture precisely to the darkest spots. 2. Use the 2 nd lightest mixture (or lighter mixture) and look for any remaining spots. 3. Avoid applying color on the clear spaces; otherwise the mixture color can appear like a thick concealer on the skin. 4. The Final Blending Step is the key, using the Skin Tone Mixture to blend the surrounding border removal area, gradually fade out to match with the skin tone to achieve the perfect result. 5. Ensure there are no demarcations. EYELINER CAMOUFLAGE 7

HEALING: The natural healing process can take between 4-8 weeks to fully recover depending on the size and location of area that was worked on. The longer the period to recover, the greater the healing results will be. TIPS and TRICKS: Never over-promise, it is just a camouflage, not replacement of the skin. You can charge double the price of a regular procedure because it is double the knowledge and twice as much experience is required of the technician. A good estimation is $500-$1000, depending on how big and how dark the area is. Low Cost: 1 bottle of pigment can be used for up to 30 applications (less than $1 per application) If a customer requires additional services, charge a material fee [i.e. $80 (not $1)] Explain that it is only for the cost of the material to render service. In general, camouflage Procedures, 2 or more machines are HIGHLY recommended to avoid color/pigment cross-staining two or more machines are required to keep the multiple mixtures separate working on the different darkness area/spots. o 1 machine for the pigment being used. o The other(s) should be ready for the different color mixture shades in different area usage. Always hold the machine at a 90⁰ angle following the contours of the face while depositing pigment. This ensures accuracy and will prevent migration (see prevent migration tutorial) CAUTION: A patch test is always required before starting any procedures. Never overwork an area. Overwork may lead to infection and cause scarring. Avoid direct contact to the eyes, and keep eyes closed throughout the procedure. If any incident happens, rinse the area with copious amounts of water and/or saline solution. Consult your doctor for immediate physical help. 8
