Services Know Your Client It is important for you to know everything you can possibly know about your client, to reduce the risk to you and your firm. We will provide a thorough ID report on the client by way of various investigative techniques, so you know they are whom they say they are, enabling you to make a safer and less risky decision. Intelligence We have access to various national databases enabling us to develop an intelligence profile of claimants, witnesses and third parties. Our analysts come from a Police background and are able to assess and evaluate the product designed to develop a particular claim, which is enhanced by providing our investigators with an intelligence picture pre-interview, leading to a thorough and detailed investigation. Full Case Intelligence As well as providing the individual intelligence products outlined below, we can tailor a full intelligence package to complement your expertise in progressing each case. In conjunction with yourselves we will analyse a case on an individual basis and assess the third party defence. We can then tailor a comprehensive intelligence portfolio for the specific case which will address any issues raised by the third party or any issues which we perceive may arise in the future. This information at your disposal will either strengthen your belief in the case, or put you in a more informed position so you can decide the best form of action. Claimant/Witness/Defendant Profiling We utilise a variety of methods including internet checks, database checks, credit history checks, telephone interviews and conversation management techniques in order to profile the claimant and lessen the risks involved for you. Statements We take statements from claimants, witnesses and third parties from anywhere in the UK. These are provided to you typed-up and presented in Civil Court format. Our ethical approach to investigations demands that we look to establish the truth and the contents of any statement obtained must accurately reflect what the person making the statement is saying, and critically they must read and fully agree the contents before signing it. Sign Ups We offer sign up, explanation and delivery of legal documents throughout the UK. Tracing of Claimants, Witnesses and Defendants This service is carried out by both our intelligence staff, and where necessary our investigators in the field. DVLA Enquiries Full vehicle checks inlcuding year of manufacture, date of first registration, engine capacity, colour, expiry date of the current tax disc or SORN declaration and vehicle excise duty rate all produced within 72 hours. Tachograph Examinations Forensic examination and analysis of tachographs is carried out by qualified staff who provide evidence to a standard accepted by the courts. Accident Scene Reconstructions Our highly experienced staff will investigate and deliver accurate and intelligible analysis of complex technical issues. Locus Reports We visit the scene of accident, accompanied by the claimant, (where possible) and obtain all pertinent data including photographs and in some cases video evidence. Our team of accident reconstruction specialists will then produce a high quality Locus Report presented in Civil Court format. Surveillance In cases involving suspected fraud we are able to provide a service which by way of observation, video recording and photography we are able to provide the necessary evidence to support or refute a claim for personal injury compensation. Our experienced field operatives can work in small teams to the highest operational standards. Counsel Conferencing Our experienced staff will attend Counsel Conferences, providing support and advice in relation to individual investigations and facilitate interviews with both claimants and witnesses, taking additional statements where necessary. Vehicle Profiling We undertake a variety of investigations and examine a number of sources in order to produce a detailed historical profile of the vehicles involved in the accident. This includes checks on registration history, MOT history, previous sales of the vehicle, mileage verification and more. Handwriting Recognition We have highly specialised and experienced handwriting experts to perform signature recognition, handwriting identification, examine alterations and also decipher original content following an obliteration or erasure. Polygraph Tests Commonly known as Lie-detectors, polygraph tests are used to examine the validity of a claimant s statements. It measures and records several physiological indices such as blood pressure, respiration, pulse and skin conductivity while the subject is asked and answers a series of questions. Weather Reports We obtain detailed weather reports for the time of day and area of the accident in question, in order to ascertain the legitimacy of the defendant s and witness s statements. Mobile Phone Forensic Analysis We specialise in the extraction, analysis and presentation of data from mobile telephones, cellular networks and all forms of mobile computing communications technology. CPD Training Key People iai is currently building on the relationships it has with solicitor firms by visiting them to deliver more insight and expertise. This is Barrister led training inconjuction with Clerksroom, focusing on RTA fraud indicators and possible routes of investigation in relation to alleged/suspected fraudulent RTAs. This training session qualifies for CPD points. The training is available to both existing companies, and companies whom currently do not instruct iaccident Investigations. Peter Parry Managing Director Peter formed iai in 2009 and predominately employs retired Police detectives to carry out investigations on behalf of our customers. He retired from Merseyside Police as a Senior Investigating Officer and has a wealth of experience in both management and investigation of the most serious crimes. His leadership and ability was recognised by the Home Office who presented him with awards on three occasions for tackling serious and organised crime. His promise is to provide an ethical investigation service that complements and supports our customers' cases and is committed to identifying fraudulent claims. In conjunction with P.10

Dave Kelly Director of Operations Dave was a former Senior Investigating Officer with Merseyside Police who led numerous successful high profile criminal investigations, including murders, that attracted intense national and, in some cases, international media interest. His work has been recognised by way of awards and commendations from the High Court, Home Office and Chief Officers. He also has experience of working with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service where he was seconded to assist in developing intelligence and investigation practices. He received a commendation from the Commissioner of Police for his work in these areas. He has seamlessly transferred his skills, abilities and experience to iai and provides strong leadership and support to the management team and members of staff alike. Martin Leahy General Manager Martin was a senior investigating officer working within a large territorial district of Liverpool which included a busy inner-city area. He successfully investigated the most serious of crimes and was commended for his work on a number of occasions. He possesses excellent communication and analytical skills and consequently performs this pivotal role within the company. His experience includes working on secondment overseas as a senior investigating officer following the conflict in Bosnia, his work whilst seconded was recognised by the Foreign Office. P.12
