RFID TECHNOLOGY: ELEVATING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY INTEGRATING TRACKING AND INVENTORY SOLUTIONS

SECURE ASSET TRACKING IN YOUR HANDS The RFID System is designed with two basic parts a transponder tag that is attached to the inventory asset, and a reader, which is a transceiver and an antenna. Each EAM life vest is equipped with an RFID chip (tag) that stores the birth record of the product. Through the use of the handheld scanner or fixed reader with mobile software, the real-time information including inventory location, expiration dates and serial numbers is recorded without performing individual physical counts and generating manual documentation. RFID Solutions saves valuable time, money and optimizes operational efficiency. DISCOVERING THE NEED FOR EFFICIENCY Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a well-established technology used across many industries for inventory control, asset tracking and security measures. Identifying a fundamental need of its innovative capabilities for the aviation industry, EAM Worldwide strategically developed an advanced RFID application to help clients manage their equipment assets accurately and instantaneously. By replacing the manually-intensive process of verifying the location and maintenance needs of each equipment or part individually, EAM provides a new way to create operational efficiencies. Introducing, EAM RFID Solutions.

TAG THE CRAFT EAM RFID Solutions offers advanced, automated tracking solutions that effectively replace the inefficient, manual inspection of aircraft equipment saving valuable time and money. Our custom-built system can scan all tagged aircraft equipment, from flashlights and oxygen generators to carts, seat belts and life vests, in just minutes. The system immediately identifies if any tagged asset is missing, been tampered with, has expired or is due for regular maintenance. Whether working with an existing inventory management system or developing a standalone program, EAM RFID Solutions can build a unique platform to optimize operations efficiency and create significant return on investment. Based on decades of collective aviation experience, EAM RFID Solutions continually delivers superior asset tracking and management systems with exceptional client service.

EAM RFID SOLUTIONS CAN BE USED TO TRACK ASSETS IN PASSENGER CABIN SUCH AS: 1. CRASH AXES 5. FLASHLIGHTS 9. OXYGEN MASKS 13. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS 2. SEAT BELTS 6. MEGAPHONES 10. SMOKE DETECTORS 14. LAVATORY ITEMS 3. FIRST AID KITS 7. SERVICE CARTS 11. OXYGEN BOTTLES 15. LIFE VESTS 4. SAFETY CARDS 8. BLANKETS & PILLOWS 12. LIFE RAFTS & SLIDES 16. OXYGEN GENERATORS 1 3 5 7 FIRST AID KIT EAM RFID SCANNER 9 11 13 15 MANAGE ASSET INVENTORY SEAMLESSLY Tag the Craft is a comprehensive, yet scalable solution that allows a client to specifically choose which assets to track. EAM takes care of all the RFID needs, from an in-depth consultation of tracking needs to the seamless implementation and integration of customized hardware and software systems. EAM also provides comprehensive training to all users and remain available for any necessary maintenance and support. SITUATION AIRLINES ARE FACED WITH THE CHALLENGE OF CONSISTENT & RELIABLE INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT CABIN EQUIPMENT. ANSWER EAM RFID SOLUTIONS PROVIDES EFFICACY & EFFICIENCY BY REDUCING PROCESS TIMES, IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF CABIN CHECK PROCEDURES & DELIVERING SEAMLESS, SECURE RESULTS.

EXPANDING BEYOND THE AIRCRAFT EAM RFID Solutions has also expanded its RFID-enabled applications to specifically address the additional tracking and management needs of its aviation clients. For the efficient management of assets, tools and vehicles in airline hangars, tool cribs and warehouses, RFID technology can be easily applied and integrated as a cost-saving system. In addition, EAM RFID Solutions can work with any operator, manufacturer or company dealing with logistics to track and protect valuable assets in warehouses and cargo containers around the world.

MATS - STOPPING THEFT WHERE IT STARTS EAM RFID Solutions has developed another tracking system to specifically address the increasing theft of aircraft assets. Introducing the Mobile Anti-Theft System (MATS ). The compact, rugged-enclosed system is immediately deployed to detect any selectable RFID-tagged assets. Before passengers exit an aircraft, MATS is switched on for continuous coverage in the high traffic area. If any tagged assets such as life vests or seat belts leave the aircraft, the crew will be immediately alerted. In addition, MATS can be used as a portal for tracking movement of assets, equipment and personnel such as maintenance crews removing and transporting assets. EAM s new tracking solution is available in two models to meet the aircraft s space specifications. BENEFITS RAPID DEPLOYMENT MATS operating system is very simple. A person places the unit in the traffic area such as the gateway, flips the power switch and the system instantly starts scanning the area. If additional coverage is needed, a secondary antenna can be extended. FULLY AUTOMATED MATS captures data on the tags detected and displays the serial numbers and the tag ID s of those assets on the integrated LCD screen. The data can then be transferred to a database for analysis and record-keeping. The unit always displays up to the last 400 tags detected. FLEXIBLE POWER OPTIONS MATS has multiple power options including a smart battery system (duration of over 8 hours), Ethernet, 110V-240V AC and an internal conditioner that accepts 10V to 48V DC power. ALERTS MATS has a high audible buzzer and flashing LED alerts. Upon detection of a selected RFID tag, the system will trigger the alarms for a configurable time. COMMUNICATION MATS communicates via Wi-Fi, GSM, Serial or Ethernet. FAST DEPLOYMENT WITH REAL-TIME RESULTS TECHNICAL DATA Power: 10V-60V DC, 110-240V AC, Lithium-ION Battery (8 hour life), Power over Ethernet MATS DEVICE * Alarms: Buzzer and flashing LED's Display: Unit has a 3 x 1 in LCD panel with menu scroll Antenna: Optional secondary for a larger coverage area Frequency options: US: 902 ~ 928 MHz - EU: 865 ~ 868 MHz RFID Protocol Support: EPC Class 1 Gen 2; ISO 18000-6C CONTROLLING THE REMOVAL OF ASSETS FROM AIRCRAFT, WAREHOUSES AND/OR PRODUCT INVENTORY IS NOW POSSIBLE WITH OUR MOBILE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM.
