There s a simple system to connect your current or new site to ONTRAPORT so you can have an online presence, create a membership site, and have a central location so your clients will always know where to find your content. Consider Your Hosting Options ONTRAPORT can host your site using a free ONTRAPORT domain You can create a WordPress site directly from ONTRAPORT that we ll host for you on our public domain absolutely free. If you plan on using a domain provided by ONTRAPORT, click here to skip the next slide. Be aware that the domain will look like this www.yourdomain.affcntr.com. We add the affcntr.com to your chosen domain name. ONTRAPORT host your site using your own domain name In the next slide we explain how to use a brand new domain name for your website. You cannot use a domain name that is in use on an existing website. Any content on that website will be lost if ONTRAPORT hosts it. Consider Your Hosting Options Have ONTRAPORT host your site using your own domain name ONTRAPORT hosted sites have limited features. Email addresses are not included, and you cannot auto-transfer the site content to another host later. The server software may be incompatible with some plugins and themes. And, we don t allow FTP or control panel access to the underlying server; you can only access the WordPress Admin section to manage your site. To avoid these limitations, host your WordPress website with any regular webhost and Click here to skip the next slide. Are you OK with the limitations? Read on. There are two ways to use a new domain name with ONTRAPORT s servers: - Recommended: Point your Name Servers to ONTRAPORT using ns1.ontraport.com and ns2. ontraport.com. This is the easiest method and can be done during the domain purchase. - Harder, geekier method: Point the domain s primary A-record to the following IP address : 72.52.147.96. See the benefits of this here. This is more difficult to do correctly. Do not use either method for an existing website. All data will be lost. Next

STEP 1 Launch a New WordPress Site If you don t have a current website, or just want to start fresh, the first thing you need to do is create a new WordPress site through ONTRAPORT. If you already have a WordPress site set up, click here to skip to step 2. LET S GET STARTED!

How to Launch a New WordPress Site 1. In ONTRAPORT, go to Sites > WordPress > New WordPress Site. 2. Click Create under New WordPress Site. Next steps

How to Launch a New WordPress Site 3. Select Use our domain to create a new domain name using the ONTRAPORT domain (ending in.affcntr. com). Designate a subdomain (you will get an error message if the subdomain is already in use). Select Use your own domain if you have a new domain name you have set up to use with ONTRAPORT s server. Type in your domain name. Do not add a trailing slash to the domain name. 4. Save your new site. Do not use this method for an existing website. All data will be lost. Next steps

How to add an existing WordPress site 1. In ONTRAPORT, go to Sites > WordPress > New WordPress Site. 2. Click Create under Existing WordPress Site. Next steps

How to add an existing WordPress site 3. Enter the URL of your website in the Enter Domain/URL field. Do not include a trailing slash on your URL. 4. Click Pilot Press Download in the WordPress Plugin/API Code section. You can also download the PilotPress plugin here. Next steps

STEP 3 Install and Configure PilotPress Now that your site is set up, it s time to integrate with ONTRAPORT and configure your settings. LET S GET STARTED!

How to Install PilotPress 1. In ONTRAPORT, go to Sites > WordPress > Click on your site. 2. Copy the App ID and API Key to your clipboard. 3. Login to your WordPress site s backend. - If you created a new site, skip to #7. 4. If you integrated an existing site, go to Plugins > Add New. Next steps

How to Install PilotPress 5. On the Install Plugins page, click Upload > Browse. Select the PilotPress.zip file you just downloaded. 6. Activate the PilotPress plugin from your list of installed Plugins. 7. Go to Settings > PilotPress. Paste in the App ID and API Key from ONTRAPORT into the General Settings. Next steps

How to Configure PilotPress 8. Select whether or not to enable the Customer Center and the Affiliate Center. 9. Use the Post Login Redirect Settings to choose where contacts are redirected when they login. If you enabled the Customer Center and the Affiliate Center, these are good places to send your clients upon logging in. Save. Next steps
