IMPORTANT INFORMATION According to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC we recommend a wired emergency stop where applicable, as well as other protections against personal injuries, e.g. pinch protection for sliding car doors. The radio control system should only be used for functions such as starting and halting of an application. The radio control system must not be a safety-related part of a control system. GENERAL INFORMATION The system transmits at the frequency 869.85 MHz. Objects positioned between the transmitter and the antenna, e.g. large metal objects, as well as other radio equipment products can affect the range. A normal range for the transmitter is approx. 60-100 meters. 4
CODES T60 NOTE! The transmitters must be registered in the receiver prior to use. Fixed individual code Each transmitter has a fixed, individual code that cannot be changed. Self-instruction of code T60 transmitters and receivers are co-programmed through self-instruction, i.e. the transmitter is registered in the receiver. Program T60RX-04ASM, T60RX-04BSM, T60RX-08ASM, T60RX-08BSM The receiver Function and Select buttons are used to program the receiver. Press the Function button to scroll through the programming options. Press the Select button to confirm the selections. Red LED (6) Yellow LED (7) Green LED (8) - Code registering - Momentary/latching relay functionality - Interlocking relay functionality When you have made a selection by pressing the Select button, use the Function button to scroll to the relay/relays that you want to program next. The red relay LEDs light to indicate what relay/relays that are currently selected. Adjustable code and fixed individual code 1. Press the Function button until the red LED lights. 2. Confirm by pressing the Select button. The red relay LEDs light. 3. Press the Function button to scroll to the relay/relays that you want to program next. - When a relay is selected, it will be controlled by the transmitter button that you press when programming it. - If all relays are selected, transmitter button 1 controls relay 1, transmitter button 2 controls relay 2, etc. 4. Press the Select button for at least 0.3-4 seconds. - WITHIN 1 SECOND: Press the Select button for at least 1 second. 5. Press a transmitter button until red LED 6 flashes 3 times. RED LED 6 double-flashes to indicate that adjustable and fixed individual code have been programmed. 9
Erase codes 1. Press the Function button until the red LED lights. 2. Confirm by pressing the Select button. The red relay LEDs light. 3. Press the Function button to scroll to the relay/relays that you want to erase the code from. 4. Press the Select button until the red relay LEDs go out (for at least 6 seconds). Momentary / latching relay functionality NOTE! Momentary relay function is default. 1. Press the Function button until the yellow LED lights. 2. Confirm by pressing the Select button. The red relay LED above each relay lights. 3. Select by pressing the Select button. The yellow LED lights when the selected relay is latching. The yellow LED is off when the selected relay is momentary. 4. Scroll through the relays by pressing the Function button. Programming is completed when all relays have been passed. The YELLOW LED flashes when latching (toggling) has been activated. 10
Interlocking relay functionality Interlocking options: between relays 1 & 2 between relays 3 & 4 between relays 5 & 6 (Robust receiver) between relays 7 & 8 (Robust receiver) 1. Press the Function button until the green LED lights. 2. Confirm by pressing the Select button. The red relay LEDs 1 & 2 light. 3. Select by pressing the Select button. The GREEN LED lights when interlocking is activated. 4. Scroll to the other relay-pairs by pressing the Function button. Select by pressing the Select button. Programming is completed when all relay pairs have been passed. The GREEN LED flashes when interlocking has been activated. Erase all codes and settings 1. Press the Function button and the Select button simultaneouosly for more than 4 seconds to erase all codes, settings and interlocking. 2. All LEDs light while erasing. 11
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS Observe the following general battery warnings. As batteries contains flammable substances such as lithium or other organic solvents, they may cause heating, rupture or ignition. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced with a battery of an incorrect type. Do not short circuit, disassemble, deform or heat batteries. Never try to charge a visibly damaged or frozen battery. Keep batteries out of reach of small children. Should a child swallow a battery, consult a physician immediately. Avoid direct soldering to batteries. When discarding batteries, insulate the + and - terminals of batteries with insulating/ masking tape. Do not put multiple batteries in the same plastic bag. When improperly disposed, lithium batteries may short circuit, causing them to become hot, burst or ignite. Store in a cool location. Keep batteries away from direct sunlight, high temperature, and high humidity. Do not throw batteries into fire.! DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES AND ELECTRONICS Improperly disposed electronics may harm public health and the environment. Batteries and electronic waste may contain toxic heavy metals. If thrown away in the trash, the toxic compounds can leach into soil and water, pollute lakes and streams, making them unfit for drinking, swimming, fishing, and wildlife. Contact your local government s recycling or solid waste department for more information on proper disposal of electronics in your region. 12
