Student Guide to Navigating the NCRU Learning Management System

Logging Into the Learning Center Okay, I ve arrived at the Learning Center now how do I login?
Very Important Information! ALL users logging into the Learning Center your login ID is your first initial and last name. Your password is changeme. You will be prompted to change your password after logging in. Please note that ALL users passwords have been reset to changeme. Logging into the Learning Center
Very Important Information! Please note you may use your emaill address as your ID only if you have a NCR user specific email account. If your email account is a property account you will not be able to access your student records and training using an email address as your ID. If you have any difficulties logging in please contact the NCRU at ncru@ncr.org Logging into the Learning Center
Learning Center Home Page I m logged in, now where do I go?
The Learning Center Home Page allows students to see the latest NCRU news, a snapshot of their recent training and access to enrolled learning, and the student s training history. Home Page
Home Page You may always access the Home Page by clicking on the Home Page link located on the left menu. 10
Home Page Headline Headline The Home Page will always display the latest NCRU news and announcements. To view an article s entire content click the news articles headlines. 11
Home Page From the Home Page view online modules and classroom training by clicking the Enrolled Learning tab 12
Home Page From the Home Page, view your complete training history by clicking the Records and Transcripts tab. 13
Home Page The Knowledge Tools menu provides quick links to recently enrolled training. Find a Learning Item provides a search box to easily find courses you may be enrolled in. 14
Enrolled Learning Modules How do I see and access the courses I m enrolled in? 15
Enrolled Learning Modules Let s review the Enrolled Learning Modules page. To access this page users must click on the Enrolled Learning Modules tab. 16
Enrolled Learning Modules After clicking the Enrolled Learning Modules tab notice the tab has turned from red to blue? You are now on the Enrolled Learning page. Blue tabs indicate your current location. 17
Enrolled Learning Modules From this page you may view ALL the courses you are currently enrolled in, classroom and online. 18
Enrolled Learning Modules Courses that are listed as ENROLLED are courses that you are enrolled in but have not tried to access or complete. 19
Enrolled Learning Modules Courses that are listed as INCOMPLETE are courses that you are enrolled in and are in the process of completing. For example, if you launch a module but wish to complete the course at a different time the Learning Center will mark the course as INCOMPLETE. 20
Enrolled Learning Modules To launch or access an online training module click the course title. Course Title 21
Enrolled Learning Modules Once you click the course title a new window will open providing the course summary and a Start Module link. Upon clicking the Start Module link the course will launch. 22
Enrolled Learning Modules Start Module Screen Once you have started the training module DO NOT close the Start Module screen. Doing so may result in failure to receive credit for the course. 23
Enrolled Learning Modules When exiting a module that includes an exam please remember to click the EXIT button in the bottom left hand corner. Failure to do so may result in not receiving credit for the course. 24

Enrolled Learning Modules Once you click the course title a new window will open providing information on the classroom training. 26
Enrolled Learning Modules From the Enrolled Learning Modules page students may also view their training calendar. Students may view training for any month. 27
Records/Transcript How can I view my training history? I want to view both completed and incomplete training. 28
Record/Transcript Click the Records/Transcript tab to review the Records/Transcript page. Notice the Record/Transcript tab is blue. Again, a blue tab indicates your current location. 29
Records/Transcript The Records/Transcript page allows students to view their complete training history. 30
Records/Transcript By default the page initially displays records for the past twelve months. To view a complete history click the Show Learning Items For drop down menu. 31
Records/Transcript The Overall Status column indicates whether you have or have not completed a course. 32
Career Development Center I see a page featuring Job Profiles, Competencies, Certifications, etc. How can I utilize this feature? 33
Career Development Center At this time the Career Development feature is inactive. Look for Career Development updates as more Learning Center enhancements are launched. Coming Soon! Employee certifications uploaded to the Career Development Center. Stay tuned! 34
