BALANCING YOUR LIFE WITH POSH How much PERSONALITY do YOU have and HOW are you putting it into your business? Personality can be shown through SAMPLES, PARTIES, PRODUCT DELIVERIES, and SOCIAL MEDIA. SAMPLE MAKING As we know, Perfectly Posh offers a LONG list of wonderful pampering products. We certainly don t have to like every single product offered but it is important to find at least one GREAT thing to say about each individual product that we offer. The more ways we can relate to a product through our personality will help increase sales further down the road. Be knowledgeable not only on the product itself but on the product info cards too. Have you noticed that a few instruction cards advise that it should be followed by? The Complextion Perfection, for example, is one I can think of. Making SAMPLES with a little PERSONALITY and FLARE can be easy and fun. Always try to pair up at least 2 products that complement each other like a mask & moisturizer, a face wash & moisturizer, a scrub & a body butter, etc. Think about how you can dress-up a sample. Be creative. Visit your local Dollar Store and look at stickers, gift bags, and the party isle. The Dollar Store is also great for celebrating EVERY holiday known

to man and usually carries all sorts of different decorated little cellophane bags and MORE. Themes can be presented through samples too So pretend you find cute cellophane bags with SNOW FLAKES on them Go home and put together themed sample packs that maybe include a sample of the SAINT mask (everyone needs extra moisture in the winter) and a sample of an ALL MIXD UP because taking a bath on a cold day can be so soothing HERES WHERE THE PERSONALITY WILL COME IN and to top off the sampler pack I m going to throw in a HOT COCOA MIX to help set the mood. The key is to treat your sample packs like party favors if that makes sense. Keep it exciting and people will be excited! Host an ONLINE game with samples. You know the feeling when you ve just spent the last hour or two making samples and now they are all sitting scattered all over the kitchen table. Grab your camera and snap a photo Share the photo on Facebook and ASK your followers to guess HOW MANY SAMPLES ARE IN THE PICTURE, or HOW MANY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS DO YOU SEE IN THIS PICTURE? First person to answer correctly WINS a sampler pack. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS INCLUDE YOUR BUSINESS AND CONTACT INFO!!

PARTIES Online & Home ONLINE: Online parties don t have to be BORING. Here are a few ideas to help create excitement and bring personality to your next online event. When someone has decided to book an ONLINE party with you it is important for you to make the party the BEST it can be from afar. I like to put together HOSTESS PACKETS. These packets include a few catalogs, order forms, business opportunity flyers, business cards, mini catalogs, 4 sampler bags and a note. The NOTE is KEY for ONLINE PARTIES. It explains the contents of the package including details on the 4 sampler packs. The sampler packs ALL contain the exact same products (typically a face wash, a mask, a moisturizer and a scrub). One is intended for the HOSTESS to keep and the others are for her to share. The note also offers an incentive for her to earn a FREE GIFT even if she doesn t get sales. I encourage her to sample the product packs with at least 2 friends or family member and snap a photo. I then ask the hostess to share that photo with ME in either a text message, email, or facebook tag to claim her FREE GIFT. So many times we find ourselves sending out samples and online parties that amount to nothing in return. It s important to keep the hostess excited and motivated about her party. PLUS every consultant knows that POSH SELLS ITSELF when people are actually WILLING TO TRY IT. Be sure to GET INVOLVED with her guests through a facebook event. Remember, some people still enjoy flipping their fingers through catalogs versus scrolling a website online so be sure guests know that they are available. When you offer to send

out a catalog to an interested party guest, you ve actually opened this special door to include samples too. Your hostess will see you going ABOVE AND BEYOND for her party. KEEP GUESTS INTERESTED by hosting a simple ONLINE GAME or ADVENTURE. It s very important to get folks actually looking at the event. I like to create mini scavenger hunts asking guests 4 questions that can be answered easily by visiting my website and whoever answers all 4 correctly first, WINS a simple prize. I m always sure to include 1 question about the business opportunity and 1 question about our CLOSEOUT SECTION so they can see firsthand how very affordable our products are.

HOME PARTIES Home parties are run very similar to an ONLINE event until the day of the actual party. I try to generate interest through a facebook event, offering to send a couple catalogs, host an online game/adventure, give the hostess a CHALLENGE, and I ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE the products on the days leading up to the party. I announce that there will be an ON TIME DOOR PRIZE DRAWING too in hopes to get guests arriving on time. The HOSTESS CHALLENGE is a simple way to get future party bookings. For the HOSTESS CHALLENGE, I put together 1 gift bag with lots of tissue paper and 1 or 2 smaller gift bag with lots of tissue paper, I take a picture and post the CHALLENGE on the facebook event explaining that IF the HOSTESS can get at least 1 person to book a party with me for the following month that she gets to keep the bigger bag for herself and the party booker gets the smaller one. EVERYONE IS HAPPY. The hostess just scored a little something, the party booker just scored a little something and I just scored a party. NOW, it s party time. Greet guests and give them their door prize drawing ticket. Allow friends to mix and mingle peek at your table display until the party time. When the moment arrives and the party has begun, I start with THANKING my hostess for the opportunity to POSH her and her friends. I talk a little more about the HOSTESS CHALLENGE and present the gift. Guests can touch, hold, shake, but NOT SEE inside the gift bag. I explain very quickly the details of the party and all the different product options they ll get to make. Providing guests with OPTIONS can really work in your favor as no two people are the same, so whenever possible, allow them to pick

which wash, mask, moisturizer, scrub, skindelicious, etc they would like to try. Remind guests that we offer a buy 5 get the 6th free deal and be sure to send everyone home with a couple extra samples to play with in the future and DON T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR BUSINESS CARDS. EXTRA TOUCHES TO ADD TO A HOME PARTY: POSH with the PARTY, guests ENJOY seeing and knowing that WE really USE these products. SUPPLY the good paper towels or wash clothes for guests. That s NOT the hostesses job. Carry HEADBANDS, HAIR TYES, & BOBBY PINS for those just in case moments

PRODUCT DELIVERIES Deliveries. NOT always our favorite part of the job but remember, DELIVERIES THIS WEEK MEANT ORDERS LAST WEEK so MAKE THEM SPECIAL. Think of it as another OPEN DOOR. Take the opportunity to go above and beyond and POSH them with MORE SAMPLES. Of course they should be of products they have not yet ordered. Try supplying the customer with INSTRUCTION cards for the products they DID order. I know many times people may not remember exactly what the product was good for. It s a GREAT way to turn a random customer into a CLIENT for REPEAT ORDERS. Deliver products in gift bags, use tissue paper or decorative paper shred. It s important to make the WHOLE experience a GIANT GIFT of Pampering. (Plus you re branding yourself and your business)

SOCIAL MEDIA We are so LUCKY to have networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, and Instagram. You can generate so much interest through social media and it s completely FREE. 99% of the time I use a POSH product THE WORLD KNOWS, if I m making samples THE WORLD KNOWS, if I gained a team member THE WORLD KNOWS, if I get promoted THE WORLD KNOWS. The more I share POSH with the WORLD the more PASSIONATE I appear about my business. Offer your followers an opportunity to sample the products you re ranting and raving about. Take pictures and share them with the WORLD when you re masking but be CLASSY about it. Host an ONLINE GAME to spark some interest once in a while. BE HONEST with your POSH Followers about your business goals and make it KNOWN when they are met. People will FEED off of your excitement and the DIRECTION your business is going as long as YOU remain enthusiastic and excited yourself.

PRIZE IDEAS: Prizes aren t necessary but can help add a little excitement. Prizes don t have to be BIG. A really great prize could be as simple as a SAMPLER SET. Like a sample set of ALL the Skindelicious scents, OR the BFYHC scents. People would LOVE to smell them ALL!!! Or what about a set of all the lip scrubs. The list is endless so no matter where you re at in your business PRIZES are available with a little imagination.
