- 2 - OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS * Connect the instrument to a ground mains outlet, after ensuring that the Voltage is the same as given on the name plate. The bath must be connected to an earthen (grounded) supply. * Secure the Heating Assembly to the polycarbonate tank, using the fixing bow. On model WB-30 the Heating Assembly should be mounted on the straight wall opposite the slanted one. * Use only distilled or softened water to avoid build-up of scale on the heating element. Do not use inflammable liquids! Minimum water level must be above the perforated tray. Maximum water level : up to the height of the rib on the outside of the wall. * The bath has a thermostat graduated from 30 0 C, but it can be used also below 30 0 C according to the ambient. Good temperature control also depends on adequate convection currents in the bath. To permit convection avoid overcrowding of bottles and use racks with perforated bases. * Connect the instrument by the ON-OFF switch and adjust the required temperature by turning the knob. If there is a deviation between the temperatures of the bath and the knob after the temperature in the bath has settled adjust the later accordingly. When the heating element is in action, the red pilot lamp lights in accordance with the switching of the thermostat. * SAFETY : The instrument is equipped with an additional safety Cut-Off, preventing element burn-out, if the water level falls. To reset push the brown button on the panel of the instrument. * Washing the polycarbonate tank : unplug bath from outlet. Remove the Heating Assembly and the perforated tray. Use warm water (50 0 C 60 0 C) and acid detergent ph 4.5 6. * The temperature range : slightly above ambient up to +100 0 C (with cover). 3/..
- 3 - * The instruments do not require any maintenance, except the periodic removal of scale on the heating element and cleaning of the perforated tray. * SAFETY : The WBS models are equipped with an additional Safety Cut-off, preventing element burn-out, if the water level falls. To reset push the brown button on the panel.
