ISIDAÇ 40 is a Calcium Aluminate Cement that has been produced for more than 10 years by Çimsa in compliance with the TS EN 14647 standard. Owing to its superior resistance against abrasion and high heats, its unique characteristic of strength and sulphate resistance, it is a preferred product both in domestic and foreign markets. Started to be produced in 2002 in Mersin Factory, ISIDAÇ 40 keeps its feature of being a product that is preferred by numerous domestic and foreign companies. Çimsa is one of the biggest exporters and producers in this field and presently conducts the sales of ISIDAÇ 40 to more than 50 countries of the world.

High and Fast Gain of Strength ISIDAÇ 40, different from the ordinary Portland Cement, starts to gain strength at the 6th hour and reaches the final strength at the 24th hour. With the strength value and strength gain speed that are beyond ordinary Portland Cements, ISIDAÇ 40 is an indispensible product in building chemicals production. With this feature, it is used in the field of building chemicals in the repair mortars and the self-leveling finish production. ISIDAÇ 40 presents an economic and essential solution with this feature for the industrial flooring that is subject to high temperature.

Acidic Resistance ISIDAÇ 40 has high acidic resistance. Portland Cements are not resistant to acidic medium due to the fact that silicates in their structures start dissolution below ph 7. ISIDAÇ 40 provides high acidic resistance due to the aluminate phases, even at very low ph values. ISIDAÇ 40 has superior sulphate resistance. Thanks to this feature, in the applications that become subject to sulphate effect such as seawater or irrigation canals, it has a sulphate resistance far beyond the Portland Cements. ISIDAÇ 40 allows sulphate resistant mortar production. The abrasion resistance reaches higher levels in the event that the hardness degrees of the aggregates used are selected appropriately. The recommended aggregate type is ISIDAÇ 40 clinker. Low Temperature Applications During the winter months in which the production amounts drop and the tile production speed decreases, ISIDAÇ 40 provides superior results in the cold-weather applications due to the high hydration speed it has. As a result of the high heat that emerges subsequent to the commencement of the hydration, it presents successful results even in the productions realized under zero degree. Things to be Paid Attention in the Application The tools and equipments should be clean and the water should be potable In the aggregate that will be used in making mortars, there must not be free alkali. The morters made with ISIDAÇ 40 should be kept wet during their hardening periods. The granulometry of the sand and aggregate to be used should be appropriate. In the ISIDAÇ 40 based applications, the water amount should be kept at minimum. The fact that ISIDAÇ 40 would provide different reactions in different admixtures from the Portland Cement should be taken into account and the site applications must be carried out after the laboratory trials.
