The Amundsen features ergonomically shaped seat cushions, so you can sit in comfort without becoming tired. With more than 60 years of experience, Westfalia is a real pioneer in motorhome manufacturing. We not only bring these decades of experience to the development of new vehicles, but also the passion and enthusiasm of our employees can be felt and lived in each vehicle that leaves our factories in Wiedenbrück in Westphalia. This is also true for the new Amundsen. The optional flyscreen door is now available in all Amundsen models Once you enter the Amundsen you will immediately be struck by the inviting and bright interior design of this youngest addition to the Westfalia family. The materials and colours used form a pleasing whole and give a lively and fresh appearance to the Amundsen interior. The beige colour of the furniture flaps, the low-key brown upholstery, and the silver and black highlights make for a contemporary and high-quality overall impression. The double bench was developed exclusively for the Amundsen and includes two seats with safety belts. Its appeal lies in its very comfortable and ergonomically shaped cushions. Turning the driver and passenger seats 180 degrees creates a cosy sitting area, where up to four people can sit comfortably. During the day the large windows admit plenty of light and at night a carefully designed illumination system will keep everyone in bright spirits. Come and see for yourself. Enjoy your meal! Love, good food and well-being go together. Not only will you appreciate the new kitchen in your Amundsen, you ll love it for just that reason. Functionality married to innovative design would be a good title for this area of the Amundsen. The powerful 2-burner hob is connected to a generous counter top where you can prepare your food in the blink of an eye. The sink with its one-lever mixer is located under part of the counter top. 01. 02. 03. Drawer hinges of the same quality as you would expect at home Functional and easy to handle, precise and durable like all Westfalia furniture. The 2-burner hob and sink are mounted perfectly ergonomically. The refrigerator in the Amundsen 540 is integrated into the front end of the kitchen block so it is easy to operate from the inside and outside. The numerous easily accessible compartments offer just the right storage space for your kitchen utensils, from dishes and cutlery to pots and pans. The 95-litre compressor-type refrigerator is located under the counter top within easy reach. (Amundsen 600 D and Amundsen 640 E). By the way: In both models you can choose to have the refrigerator placed on the counter top to gain an additional storage compartment. Sophisticated and perfectly designed. Functionality in its most attractive form the kitchen in the new Amundsen is a true masterpiece, and not only as regards its looks. AM 640 MORE THAN JUST A SPACE TO SLEEP Westfalia motorhomes will first delight you and secondly convince you. Experience the passion that goes into building our motorhomes every day you are on the road in one of our vehicles. Just take a look at the sleeping area in the new Westfalia Amundsen. Depending on the floor plan, you can choose between a rear double bed and two single beds. The Amundsen 540 D and 600 D with a rear double bed mounted transversely to the direction of travel offers a sleeping space of 140 x 197 cm (Amundsen 540 D 130 (110) x 197 cm). In the Amundsen 640 E two single beds with 75 x 2090 cm and 75 x (185) invite you to relax. You can create a large 197 x 185 / 200 cm double bed simply by closing the gap between the two single beds with inserts. As a matter of course both bed types are equipped with a well thought-out spring system in the comfort zones so that you can thoroughly relax and enjoy your leisure time after a good night's rest. 01. 02. 03. Big windows and several LED spots make for a bright and inviting atmosphere. The flexible bed construction also makes it easy to transport large mountainbikes. The spring system in the comfort zones together with the high-quality mattresses mean you sleep well and wake up completely relaxed. The Froli spring system is exclusively available in the 540 D. Relaxation is what it s all about. What style of bed you prefer is up to you. In the Amundsen series you have the option of two different bedroom styles, you can choose a rear double bed as well as two single beds. Sleeping 19

DESIGN & FUNCTIONALITY IN HARMONY The bathroom just as all the other functional areas has been completely remodelled. The result is a new standard when it comes to combining space, function and form. The full shower, the appealing mirror cabinet, the washbasin all areas have been linked in such a way that you can refresh yourself in comfort without feeling crowded. Numerous storage surfaces and hooks contribute to the bathroom s tidy look even after it has been used. The skylight (Amundsen 600 D and 640 E) not only admits sunlight but also serves to ventilate the air from the bathroom to the outside. 01. 02. The Amundsen models are equipped with a complete bathroom meaning that the shower is completely integrated into the bathroom area. The mixer tap is of the same quality you would expect at home It is a real optical highlight but it is also very durable in daily use. It is all these small details that make the difference. It is the comprehensive solution that has to be convincing. For this reason our engineers do not settle for simply using well-known solutions. In many cases it is about breaking new ground. Take the heating system in the new Amundsen for example. The new and powerful Truma 4 kw Combi hot air heating system is making its first appearance at Westfalia. This involves hot air heating. It is important for this system to install the air ducts in a sensible and reliable way. We could easily have placed the heating system in the rear or in the wardrobe like almost all our competitors. However, we are convinced that placing the heating system in the middle of the vehicle and underneath the bench is best as regards heating demand and noise control. This new Westfalia Center of the Car concept not only gave superior test results, but the Truma manufacturer s employees were also impressed by the new solution developed by Westfalia. Most importantly you our customers will benefit from this every day. This is ultimately what motivates us.
