LATERAL STABILIZATION Surgical stabilization of a cranial cruciate ligament rupture using extracapsular suture techiniques was first described by DeAngelis and Lau decades ago. When our engineers first started looking at the technique in 1997 the best solution available was using fishing line and tying knots. It was clear to us, at the time, there had to be a better way. Over the years that followed, our engineers developed the crimp clamp system and upgrade the suture materials from fishing line to a certified monofilament. However, we didn t stop there. DRILL BITS Our customers have are accustomed to expecting only the best from Everost and that includes our cutting tools. We only offer the highest quality cutting tools made from the latest materials and manufactured on state-of-the-art computer controlled equipment. DRILL BITS The Everost drill bits come standard with a Titanium Nitrate (TiN) coating and an anti-skid tip. The TiN coating dissipates heat and reduces friction which in turn reduces the heat generated during cutting. The Everost saw blades are very innovative in their design. They have teeth that are precision ground and offset to make cutting very efficient. They also have a surface design that channels cooling fluid right to the blade. The end result is a nicer, faster cut with very little heat generated!
