This document outlines desktop enhancements in Thomson Reuters Eikon and all Fixed Income variants for June 2011 to improve Fixed Income workflows. Quickly view a chart of the maturity distribution of an Issuer s debt and click a bar of the chart to see all the bonds making up that total. What s Included? The existing Debt Structure page is made less cluttered, more visual and with simpler controls. The new version of this display makes the existing content much more accessible with minimum scrolling. The display is chart-driven, defaulting to debt distribution by maturity and quick access to the underlying bonds per year. The chart type can be quickly changed to show debt distribution by currency or type of coupon and similarly the format of the chart can be switched from bar to pie chart by simple radio button. These controls are now always exposed. You can click on a bar of the chart to see all the bonds maturing in 2015 for example. A table is displayed giving relevant information per bond. More information is available for each bond by clicking through to a detailed view of each. Total outstanding amount for all the bonds maturing 2015 is given as well as for each individual bond. Alternatively you can select a Summary table and dig into a given maturity in that way. By default on arriving at Debt Structure, you see a table which gives total amount of bonds (also, where relevant bonds as borrower or to be issued and loans (where relevant). You can click on a category to be presented with the appropriate set of charts. You can choose what currency totals are presented in and whether or not to include subsidiaries. You can drill into a given subsidiary of your choice and if that subsidiary has debt, focus the display on that issuer. Benefits: - Quickly and visually understand debt distribution by maturity (or a range of other possibilities) - Send a selection of bonds into a quote list for real time monitoring or export all the data for further analysis in Excel. - Click on an individual bond for a comprehensive single security analysis. How to Access? Debt Structure is found by clicking on the Issuer tab within the view of any bond. A bond can be retrieved directly from the product command line by e.g. ISIN or explicit TCM. Alternatively the Debt Structure tab is present in the view of a company. Views of companies can be found by writing e.g. Vodafone in the product command line and clicking on the first result. 2

WHAT S NEW PRICING AND VALUATION Benefits: Swap Pricer Improvements for More Intuitive Use What s Included? New intuitive swap types have been added in the Swap Pricer with their associated default values eliminating manual inputs in order to specify the structures of each leg. For instance you can set up a cross currency basis swaps EUR GBP Quarterly / Quarterly in one click. How to Access? Type Swap Pricer into the search box or go to the Calculator Home Page and select Swap Pricer from the list of calculators. 4
Historical Averages and Historical Volatilities Calculations for Any Instrument on Your Desktop Introducing a new screen for calculating averages and volatilities on price time-series. What s Included? The Average Calculator is now available on Thomson Reuters Eikon for computing historical averages and volatilities on customized list of instruments such as futures, physical commodity indices (e.g. Platts or Argus), stocks, stock indices, currencies, interest rates, bonds or macroeconomic indicators. How to Access? The Average Calculator is available in Preview Mode and will be launched with enhanced functionalities in a future Thomson Reuters Eikon release. It is available from the Calculator home page or by typing Average Calculator in the search box and pressing Enter.
