1. Scope of our services This document describes Accenture s Mobility Services, and should be read in conjunction with the associated Government Cloud IV Services documentation. Accenture Mobility is focused on helping its clients achieve breakthrough growth throughout the rapidly changing mobile ecosystem. Accenture Mobility offers five mobility services: Service Mobility Consulting Mobility Software Services - Applications Mobility Software Services - Devices & Platforms Mobility Managed Services Mobility Business Integration Services Description Management and technology consulting services to help our clients develop mobility strategies, mobility business and technology plans and design mobility solutions to drive additional enterprise and customer value. Software development services for mobile applications including custom, packaged, and hosted client, client/server and cloud based solutions with support for all leading high-level operating systems (HLOS) and cloud platforms. A range of embedded software services for clients to enable a product or device containing embedded software, such as mobile phones, vehicles, industrial solutions, household appliances or consumer electronics. Services include advanced embedded software engineering, device tuning, testing, certification, diagnosis and resolution of errors. A managed-service platform for clients to launch and scale vertical mobility offerings quickly on a variable cost, transaction model basis. This platform offers dramatic reduction in complexity through pre-integration with leading network operators, device manufacturers, business partners and developers. Integrated business and technology mobility services through a vertical or functional domain. This service provides large scale, integrated solutions utilizing the full complement of Accenture Mobility offerings to service the enterprise mobility needs of our clients (e.g., business to employee, business to business and business to business to consumer solutions). Mobility Software Services Applications Mobility Software Services are often provided in combination with Accenture Mobility Consulting as part of a broad mobility strategy and planning effort. Mobility Software Services provides Custom Mobile Application Development, Application Factory, Mobile Application Testing and Enterprise User Experience. Custom Mobile Application Development Service Custom mobile application development combines leading-edge commercial and custom applications, middleware, and platforms so organisations can deploy secure and easy-to-manage mobile functionality. Accenture s App Factory for custom app development can be deployed where a more industrialised approach is necessary. The Accenture application factory addresses key market challenges across people, process and infrastructure/tools. Device/platform requirements are addressed by a pool of advisors (application architects, UX/UI designers, test automation experts, etc.) and cross-platform skilled engineers with excellent skills in application development. Mobile Device Management with Enterprise Application Catalogue (Managed Service) A ready-to-use, hosted service that allows clients to more securely manage enterprise users mobile devices and to distribute enterprise mobile applications directly to enterprise users devices from a central location. The service can use any of three market-leading tools to meet the company s specific requirements. This service can include Mobile Device Management as part of the end to end solution. Our Managed Services include Workforce Management and Sales Force Automation. Workforce Management & Process Automation Workforce management helps organisations improve the efficiency of their distributed field force employees or contractors through business process reengineering, cultural change, organisational structure, performance management and workforce management tools. It allows team members access to key resources, allowing them to perform critical functions, including accessing client information, checking and updating history and status reports. 2. Approach Accenture s Mobility Services are based on Accenture s field tested methodology for delivering software application assessments and implementations. This includes a series of toolkits and templates for all phases which have been developed with clients in numerous industries from across the world. Accenture has a global certification strategy which sets corporate direction on standards identified as being particularly critical. These have resulted in certifications for CMMI for Development (CMMI -DEV), ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20000, BS25999, and Lean Six Sigma, and ITIL. Certified to ISO 9001, Accenture s Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to quality management controls within methodologies such as PRINCE 2, MSP, COBIT and ITIL 3. The QMS process has been integrated within Accenture s core delivery methodology, Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM), which also complies with ISO 9001 and CMMI. ADM provides a well-established set of internal controls, and has been refined over years of experience, to drive quality and timely delivery on all engagements. The method has been extended, via ADM for Distributed Agile Mobility, to cover the unique demands of mobility projects. 3. Assets and tools Accenture uses a field tested set of industry standard processes, tools and methodologies, known as the Accenture Delivery Method (ADM), which is used for the planning, delivery, development and deployment of solutions and projects.
