Introduction The first safety elevator was installed 150 years ago. Since then lifts have been equipped with an automatic brake that engages the rail to stop the elevator in the event of a failure of the machinery or the cables suspending the car. The introduction of this safety device accelerated the development of the elevator industry. One of the areas of manufacturing that requires the most considerable expertise is that of LIFTS: engineering, electricity, controlling mechanisms, electronics, knowledge of microprocessors and the art of steel working all these together result in quality elevator manufacturing. The history of NYÍR-LIFT is all about these. Nyír-Lift Kft. was founded in 1990. It specializes in the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of lifts. Our company started its activity in the Szabolcs region mainly with small repairs and maintenance. During the next couple of years, we established the infrastructural background that was indispensable for the development by purchasing machinery and building our own workshop. These innovations resulted in a quantum leap. As our customers were fully satisfied with the quality of our services, several companies ordered the installation of complete lifts. Thanks to research and development, the cars, the steel structures in the shafts and the towers of elevators are exclusively manufactured on our production line. At the same time we managed to establish direct wholesale contacts with the leading companies manufacturing elevator parts in Western Europe. We are in daily contact with BUCHER Hydraulics GmbH. in Switzerland as well as Bunse Aufzüge GmbH., HIRO GmbH. and N.E.W. GmbH. in Germany. We have continuous contact with OTIS Felvonó Kft. and Schindler Hungária Kft. Among the most significant Hungarian partners of Nyír-Lift Kft. are Arcadom Építőipari Kft., Közgép Zrt., KÉSZ Zrt., Swietelski, STRABAG Zrt., SEMATIC HUNGÁRIA Kft. and Hérosz Építőipari Kft. We regularly supply them with equipment. Our company distributes and installs elevators, accessibility equipment, parking systems and scissor lifts. Statistics prove that since 2005 Nyír- Lift Kft. has been among the best-performing companies in Hungary every year. WWW. 3

PRODUCTS OUR COMPANY MANUFACTURES AND SERVICES CONVEYANCE EQUIPMENT IN A COMPREHENSIVE WAY WE PRODUCE EQUIPMENT, ASSEMBLE IT ON THE SPOT, AND ALSO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE SERVICES. WHAT CAN WE OFFER OUR CUSTOMERS? PASSENGER LIFTS In accordance with changing demands, standard passenger lifts are installed not only in office buildings, shopping centres and blocks of flats, but in detached houses as well. These products of our company are characterised by customization and the most favourable prices. GOODS LIFTS Multinational companies and factories often order this type of lift. Freight elevators have to meet industrial requirements they have to be able to hoist extreme masses and extreme materials reliably. CAR LIFTS, PARKING SYSTEMS, POP-UP GARAGES An effective method of space utilization in parking garages can be carried out by installing special car lifting devices. Parking systems make it possible to use space more efficiently and they are also environmental friendly. Pop-up garages are particularly useful for apartment buildings, private houses and offices where there is a confined space for parking an increasing number of cars. FOOD AND LAUNDRY LIFTS Restaurants, convention centres, kindergartens, schools and hospitals order food and laundry lifts. As they have to meet special requirements, we take the regulations by ÁNTSZ (Public Health and Health Officer's National Service) into consideration. 4

INSTALLATION OF ACCESSIBILITY EQUIPMENT, STAIR LIFTS, SWIMMING POOL LIFTS, OUTDOOR LIFTING PLATFORMS According to EU regulations, all public buildings have to be made fully accessible for people with disabilities by the year 2013. Our company offers several solutions depending on the conditions: vertical lifts, elevators moving on a straight or curving path and stair lifts. The so-called stair coolies and stair climbers with rubber tracks provide a special solution. We offer them for sale or even for rental. PANORAMA LIFTS Panorama elevators are architectural gems thanks to their unique forms and appearance. They are indispensable in office buildings and shopping centres, but at the same time, cooperating with the customer's interior designer, we install more and more panorama lifts in private homes and villas. We can provide solutions for the most unique ideas in accordance with both the inside and outside design of the building. INSTALLATION OF HOME LIFTS Home lifts are mainly installed in detached houses. Their advantage is that they meet special requirements and can also be installed in limited spaces thanks to their variable measurements. They do not need to comply with all the strict requirements that apply to elevators, but they cannot be used as accessibility equipment if the lifting height exceeds 2000 mm. WWW. 5

PRODUCTS DESIGN OF LIFTS The design of lifts begins at the same time as planning the building. According to the national decree of 1998 on housing and construction, the authorized plans of lifts are to be attached to the authorized construction plans of a building. Our company offers full-scale technical assistance in this field taking all the official regulations and all the requirements of our customers into consideration. MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING, DISPATCHER SERVICE As our company supplies the equipment ordered in the contract, Nyír-Lift Kft. also carries out its servicing and repairs under warranty. Our technical experts regularly attend in-service courses abroad, and we keep in stock sufficient reserves of spare parts for all types of lifts installed by Nyír-Lift Kft. Thanks to our dispatcher service, we can start troubleshooting within 2 hours. In 2009 we launched our night troubleshooting service (subject to extra charges) with the aim of decreasing the period of time our technical experts need to arrive on the scene. In accordance with the relevant regulations, we are able to start troubleshooting within 20 to 30 minutes in the counties of Szabolcs and Pest. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF ELEVATOR TOWERS In existing buildings and even in new buildings with special design, constructing an adequate supporting structure is often a problem. Our company undertakes the full-scale design, manufacture and installation of such supporting structures in elevator towers with panorama glass, industrial cardboard, and plate or sandwich panel surface. INSTALLATION OF ESCALATORS Escalators can be found in a great many places such as shopping centres and malls. We do our best to meet our customers' every request, and offer the most suitable escalator type for the place in question. 6

TRANSPORT PLATFORMS, RUBBISH CHUTES We distribute GEDA transport platforms. They are easy to assemble without the need for a crane, suitable for people and materials with a load capacity from 50 to 1600 kg. Rubbish chutes are indispensable at modern building sites. They provide a dust-free work environment, which is essential in town centres. With the help of these chutes, work can be carried out on several levels at the same time. LIFT TABLES Logistics centres and production lines cannot dispense with lift tables. Our company distributes the products of the Swedish Marco Lift, which is one of the market-leading lift table manufacturers in the world. SHEET PROCESSING Our company is engaged in both small-scale and large-scale manufacture and surface treatment of products. Our field of activity extends to the following operations: CNC bevelling, stamping, punching and cutting Production of metal systems Powder coating, grit blasting and surface cleaning Manufacture of series products Different functions, demands and constructions yet there are several features that connect all the variants. We lay great stress on finding the most cost-effective solutions paying due regard to the specific features of the buildings. The wide range of equipment and components, as well as the elevators with small or large cars meet all requirements. Our aesthetic solutions for connecting storeys are of high standard and in accordance with individual demands. What are the constituent parts of a lift? The highly simplified answer: CAR DRIVE CONTROL SYSTEM CARS Each car has a steel framework, is painted or powder coated according to the customers' wish, and has high-alloy steel or safety glass housing in the case of panorama lifts. The floor of the car can be made of wear resistant plastic, checker plate, ceramics or granite. We construct the inside of the car in accordance with the requirements and demands of our customers as well as their architect and/or interior designer. DRIVE We apply ZIEHL-ABEGG or SASSI drives for lifts with elevator machines. The drive regulation is frequency controlled, which results in a significant reduction in energy consumption. ZETADYN frequency inverters are distributed by ZIEHL- ABEGG all over the world. The elevator machines are certified by Hungarian TÜV registration, which we attach to the documentation of all our projects. Hydraulic drive: The hydraulic system is regulated, so its running characteristics comply with high requirements. The manufacturer of the hydraulic parts gives a one-to-three-year guarantee, and we offer the same if maintenance is carried out by our company. BUCHER provides real Swiss quality thanks to their unparalleled electronic valve system and their frequency-controlled hydraulic drive. We have not received any quality complaints in the past years. CONTROL SYSTEMS We have been applying control systems produced by N.E.W. in Munich for 15 years. Their control systems utilize the most state-of-the-art microprocessors and meet all consumer demands due to their great flexibility. They can be connected to the safety system of the building and have direct contact with the alarm system. Digital floor displays can be found in the car and at the base station. A mechanism can be set to allow anybody to drive the lift or just designated people. 8 There are some unique solutions in our references: LCD TV in the car, special entrance systems synchronised with the lifts, remote elevator diagnostic systems at any distance.

CERTIFICATIONS Nyír-Lift Kft. only employs people whose expertise, qualifications, experience and competence fulfil the strictest requirements. As a consequence, our company has had ISO 9001 Certification since March 2001. In recognition of our achievements, ourcompanywonthe Liftofthe Year award in 2006. This prize proves our attitude to work: to do our job with 100% accuracy and precision. MANAGEMENT We are immensely proud of having being able to increase our sales returns by more than 20% despite the slump in 2008 and to have created more jobs thanks to growing demand.
