The MISO shall not be liable for any consequences or damages to any party relying on the data provided herein. 2Introduction The document provides an explanation or Readers Guide in understanding the data file containing the Firm Flow Entitlement and its adjustments on M2M Flowgates. The Firm Flow Entitlement (FFE) represents a market entity s (net) firm rights on a M2M Flowgate based on its historical impacts. It is calculated using procedures defined in the Congestion Management Process (CMP) of the MISO JOA. FFE adjustment reflects agreed-upon exchange of FFE between MISO and counter party RTO per Day Ahead Coordination Process defined in JOA. FFE and its adjustments are used in the Real Time and Day Ahead market-to-market (M2M) settlement process. Identifier A comma separated value file containing Non Monitoring Entity FFE and its adjustments, if exist, on M2M Flowgates for the previous operating day is posted to MISO public website. The data in the file is ordered by Flowgate ID and Hour Beginning. 4.2 Report Availability Time The daily data file is available by 10:00 AM EST. 4.3 How to use this Report The guide includes an example of the FFE and its adjustment file. 4.5 Data Definitions Column Name Hour Ending NERC Flowgate ID Monitoring RTO Non Monitoring RTO Flowgate Description Non Monitoring RTO FFE Non Monitoring RTO FFE Adjustment Definition / Description / Calculation Hour Ending Flowgate identifier as defined in the NERC Book of Flowgate (BOF). A Flowgate is a pre-identified constraint, comprising of one or more monitored transmission facilities and optionally one or more contingency facilities, used to analyze the impact of power flows upon the bulk electric system. The RTO that has functional control the Flowgate for market to market purposes. The RTO does not have functional control of the flowgate but coordinates with Monitoring RTO during a market to market event. The name of the flowgate Non Monitoring Entity s FFE. Negative FFE represents that an entity used to have net impacts in reverse direction of the flowgate on a historical basis. Non Monitoring Entity s FFE adjustment as result of Day Ahead coordination. A positive value means Non Monitoring RTO is requesting RTO in the DA FFE exchange (FFE increase). A negative value means Non Monitoring RTO is responding RTO in the DA FFE exchange (FFE reduction)
