Goomzee- User s Guide MRED Guide to: Managing Your PREMIUM Goomzee Account Promote Your Properties In Minutes Goomzee is a comprehensive mobile marketing and lead generation system for real estate professionals. Follow these simple steps to set up your account and start promoting your properties right away. Useful terms The following definitions will help you better understand our mobile marketing platform. Short Code Our short code is 44133, which is a 5-digit text-in number that wireless carriers route text messages to our software. Gcode A Gcode is a text message keyword that is typed into the message when a consumer sends a text message request. For instance, if one of your Gcodes is 1234 then the consumer will send a text message to 44133 and in the message body, they will type 1234 and click SEND. Your Account Access your Goomzee account from your MyMLS home page in connectmls. The link is located under Tools, Resources and Links. Campaign The information about the property that is sent to a user s phone is a campaign. After the property sells, you can reuse your Gcodes, QR Codes and signs when you create a new campaign to promote another property. Inquiry An inquiry is essentially a Lead. When a consumer sends a text message to 44133 with your Gcode as the message or scans a QR Code, they receive the property information (your text/photo Campaign or Mobile Property Page); their phone number is automatically recorded like Caller ID so you can follow up. Access your Goomzee account by logging in to connectmls. The link for Goomzee is located in the Tools, Resources and Links section of your MyMLS homepage.

Setup Wizard The first time you access Goomzee the Setup Wizard will walk you through the basic steps needed to start promoting your listings. My Contacts When you log into the admin website, you can click on the My Contacts tab and it will display your most recent leads. You can call the leads and type in email and name information instantly upon contact. Since each lead may request information on multiple property campaigns (texting several of your codes or scanning multiple QR codes), they are only listed once in this screen but it displays how many campaigns and inquiries they ve had for you and your team s Gcode. The campaign details will be automatically set and you simply choose which Gcode you will use and save. That s it! MRED is a participating partner with Goomzee, therefore you will see a My Listings tab in the admin website. The first time you click it, you may be prompted to set up your account. Follow the instructions and enter your appropriate account identifier and save. After your account is established, you can choose to publish your campaigns either manually (default) or by using the Publishing Wizard. Simply click the Publish link next to a listing and the data automatically appears in a campaign form. You then choose which Gcode you will promote that listing with and save. Within seconds, you have created a new property campaign. Reusing Gcodes and QR Codes After you create campaigns (either manual or with wizard), you can always edit existing campaigns. If you plan on reusing a Gcode/QR Code sign to promote another property, simply select that Gcode and click the [+] Create New Campaign option. A notice will appear to warn you this will expire the previous campaign. Select yes and proceed with publishing your new campaign. The Goomzee system tracks your leads independently so you know who inquired about what property. 15

Invites for Branded Mobile IDX Search (Available only with premium package upgrade) While viewing your leads in the Goomzee admin website, you can invite your contacts to search for properties on their phone using your Branded Mobile IDX web app. Invites can be sent to mobile devices, email addresses or accessed through a self service form, or widget, you can place on your traditional website. Once the invite is accepted, consumers can use their Internet connected smart phone to search for publicly available listings from your Branded Mobile IDX site, and when they request more information about a property, that contact comes directly to you, their agent. Text Message Invite To invite a Contact to your Branded Mobile IDX app with a text message, click on the magnifying glass with the green arrow in their lead record. This will create an invitation message specific for that Contact, and you may add a custom comment to the message before sending it. When your Contact receives the text message, they can click on the link to complete their registration and access your Branded Mobile IDX app on their phone. 1. Click My Contacts in the Realty Connect web admin navigation. 2. Click magnifying glass with green arrow in the Interact column for the contact you want to invite. 3. Add additional comments to the message, if desired. 4. Click send. 16

Invite for Branded Mobile IDX Search (cont.) Website Widget and Text Code for Invite There are two ways you can promote your Branded Mobile IDX app on your website. Visitors can enter their phone information in a small form, or widget, and automatically receive a text message invitation to access your app. Alternatively, they can send a text message to a Gcode to request their invite link. When a lead requests access to your Branded Mobile IDX, Goomzee automatically creates a new Contact in your account so you can follow up. 1. Create a new campaign, and under Campaign Type, choose Search Invite Widget. 2. Choose a GCode for the campaign. 3. Create a title for the campaign. 4. Customize your widget with additional instructions, layout options, and optional fields. A preview of how the widget will appear is displayed on the right side of the page. 5. Save the widget, then copy the HTML code into the web page where you want it to appear. 17

Invite for Branded Mobile IDX Search (cont.) Gcode Mobile Invite Leads can also request an invite to your Branded Mobile IDX app by sending a text message Gcode. You can promote your Mobile IDX invite Gcode on your website, business cards, advertisements, or any other marketing type. 1. Create a Mobile IDX invite campaign, as described above. 2. Promote the Gcode for that campaign in your website and marketing to automatically provide access to your Branded Mobile IDX app. For example, Text ###### to 44133 for a personal invitation to use my mobile app to search for homes with your phone. 18

Direct Link to Your Branded Mobile IDX Search Goomzee automatically creates a direct link to your Branded Mobile IDX app, which you can provide to potential buyers so they can search for properties with their Internet connected smart phone. You can publish that link on your website, in your social media feed, or anywhere that you want to promote your Branded Mobile IDX app for potential clients. 1. Click My Account in the top right corner of the Goomzee web admin. 2. Click the Branding tab. 3. Underneath the phone previews of your custom branding, click Show My Custom Branded Links. Branded Mobile IDX Search Tool (For consumer use) 19

Realty Connect User s Guide Promoting Your Codes Be creative. Many clients create their own signs or ads to promote their text message campaigns. Sign riders can sometimes fade in with your other signage you may want to use 2-wire H step stakes and place them in the yard away from other signage to draw attention. Some clients have added sandwich boards throughout a development, allowing passers-by to gain information on their phone. Others have printed large banners. If you are limited by how you can promote the campaign, you may choose to simply print a flyer and tape it inside a window. All have been reported to be very effective in prompting buyer action. Add your Gcode codes or QR code to your traditional advertisements. Users have reported an increase in leads when they also incorporate their campaign codes in traditional advertisements. Some use different codes for different ads to track where they came from it s your choice how you take advantage of this technology. Test Your Code Text to: 44133 Msg: [Gcode] Where [gcode] is one of your codes. (after you create a campaign) Frequently Asked Questions / Troubleshooting tips Where do I login? After logging in to MRED s connectmls site, go to the Tools, Resources and Links sections in your MyMLS tab and click on Goomzee. What if my signs are damaged, lost or stolen? You may contact any sign supplier to create new or custom signs, or check whether blanks are available. What are Max Inquiries / Max Inquiries Per Lead? These prevent spam and are maximum times a campaign can be texted in total and by individual users. How do I test my codes/campaigns? See above. Create a new text message on your cell phone, type 44133 as the recipient, type [Gcode] as the message or scan your QR code. Why am I not getting a message back when I text my campaign? Verify the message is not mistyped. Verify your carrier/plan supports text to short codes. Contact support. Why am I not receiving alerts? Verify alerts are enabled and numbers/addresses are correct. Check spam folder as many emails get blocked. When I expire a campaign, why does the old campaign name still appear? This allows you to see what property the sign/code was assigned to. It helps locate signs so you can retrieve them. Why don t I see changes to my Mobile Virtual Tour when changing photos? Many browsers caches images to speed up page loading. Refresh your browser and you will see updated tour(s).
