Tokenisation The PAYware Merchant Managed Service has the ability to apply a unique transaction ID to every payment processed. This transaction ID is available for printing on the customer s receipt. For refund processing, the customer s card does not need to be presented as the refund can be applied to the card using the transaction ID rather than capturing the card number again. This tokenisation of transactional data also means that you can run your CRM and loyalty applications without having to use live card data.
