Once these steps are completed, they do not need to be performed again on that PC for that user. If multiple users share the same PC, each user will need to perform these steps once. The second section is entitled How to connect to HomeRun. It contains instructions on how to connect to a HomeRun session. These steps need to be performed every time you wish to connect to HomeRun. Note! It is possible, because of policy or security settings on your network, that you may not have permission to install ActiveX controls on your computer. If this is the case, connecting to HomeRun may result in an error message. If this happens, you will need to install the citrix client on your computer as a system or domain administrator. Contact White Oak Systems for assistance. How to connect to HomeRun This section of the manual explains the step-by-step procedures for connecting your PC to HomeRun over the internet. Note we also provide this link in the.zip file which you can save to the desktop. Note! You must perform ALL of the steps in the previous section before you can establish a secure HomeRun session. You only need to perform the steps in the first section once. 1. From Internet Explorer, type the following in the address bar: https://vpn.whiteoaksys.com (Note that you must type in HTTPS, not HTTP) Hint... Once you connect to https://vpn.whiteoaksys.com, you may want to add this entry to your Favorites list in Internet Explorer, so you can easily access the site for future sessions. 2.
