Official Rules Vogue-Eyewear 2015 Summer House Contest ELIGIBILITY Open only to legal residents of the Republic of Egypt, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of May 1st, 2015. Employees, officers and directors of Luxottica Middle East FZE ("Sponsor"), its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters/suppliers and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household, (whether or not related) are not eligible to participate in the contest. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. Please note that this Contest is open to female participants only. DETAILS OF SPONSOR: Luxottica Middle East FZE, DAFZA, Building 4WB, Office 434, Dubai, Unites Arab Emirates. CONTEST PERIOD/TIMING The Vogue-Eyewear 2015 Summer House Contest (the Contest ) will begin on May 6, 2015, and will end on October 5 th, 2015 (the Contest Period ). CONTEST LOCATION National Territory of the Republic of Egypt PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION During the Contest Period, participants may visit the Vogue Eyewear website at http://www.vogue-eyewear.com/eg or http://www.vogue-eyewear.com/eg_en and follow the instructions to register using their personal details and create a Style Miles account ( Registered Applicants ). For the purpose of registration and identification, users will be able to connect through their Facebook and/or Twitter account. Once you have registered and created a Style Miles account, you will be asked to complete the tasks in the Summer House competition and interact with website
content to gain points. Follow the instructions to earn miles and badges which reward you for specific interactions with Vogue Eyewear. There is a limit of one (1) entry/submission per person per e-mail address. Submissions will be reviewed for compliance with these Official Rules. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being an authorized account holder. Please note that participants are eligible to register and participate in the Contest only if they have a valid passport. GRAND PRIZE - SUMMER HOUSE DESTINATION MIAMI (the Grand Prize ) - Return [economy class] air tickets from Cairo International Airport to Miami, USA for the winner and her three female friends. - Stay for the winner and her 3 friends at the Vogue Summer House from January 18 th,[2016] until January 24 th, [2016] morning. - Personal driver for the 4 guests [to travel within Miami]. - Personal chef present at the Vogue Summer House to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the 4 guests. - An inclusive dedicated programme during the week in Miami which will be revealed upon winner s arrival The winner and her guests will be responsible to ensure that they have all relevant documents including a US visa. The Sponsor shall not provide any assistance in obtaining such documents. Travel insurance must be purchased by the winner before travel. Winner is required to ensure that the four (4) travellers are adequately insured.
The winner and her guests must travel on the same itinerary and traveling companions must be 18 years of age or older. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Contest, and those set forth by the Sponsor s airline carrier of choice. The potential winner and traveling companions must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of the prize by the winner is permitted.the Prize has no cash value and it cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash or an alternative holiday, or combined with any other offer, promotions or discount. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Grand Prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value or amend the Contest without notice. RELEASE By receipt of the Grand Prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the Released Parties ) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. PUBLICITY Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes each winner s consent to the Sponsor s and its agents use of winner s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. PRIVACY The winner and her friends accept to be photographed/filmed during their stay in
Miami and all content can be used and publish by the Sponsor in any form of media in its discretion, without further payment or consideration to the winner or his/her friends. JUDGING AND SELECTING THE WINNER All Registered Applicants that conform to, in Sponsor s sole opinion, these Official Rules will be judged by the Sponsor s judges ( Judging Panel ). The Judging Panel will comprise of Jessica Abouzeid (Sponsor s Vogue Eyewear Brand Manager) and Priyanka Rajagopal (Sponsor s Marketing Coordinator). Only the Registered Applicants who have uploaded a [real picture] of themselves in their Style Miles profile will be eligible to win the Grand Prize after being judged by the Judging Panel. All Submissions made by the Registered Applicants will be scored and weighted by the Judging Panel as follows: S. Criteria Weightage No. 1. Number of Miles and Badges earned during the 50% Contest Period. 2. Content creativity/originality of interactions on the 25% style miles and related Vogue Eyewear online platforms. 3. Affinity with the Vogue Eyewear brand. 25% The Judging Panel will evaluate the submissions on October 6 th, 2015 at the offices of the Sponsor. The Registered Applicant with the highest score will be deemed the potential winner, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules.The decisions of the Judging Panel will be final. The Judging Panel reserves the right to select additional reserve winners and record them in the order of their scores, in case the potential winner cannot be contacted or for whatever reason, is later disqualified or invalidated. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted [between October 6 th and 10 th, 2015] by [email/call (to the address/mobile number provided by the Registered Applicant at the time of registration)]. If the winner has not responded to any contact made within 5 days, the prize will be transferred to the 1 st reserve winner. The Grand Prize will be delivered to the winner within 60 days of contact being made with the winner. The Grand Prize Winner may also be required to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of his/her prize.
ADVERTISING and REGULATIONS The competition will be promoted on third party sites and on the website http://www.vogue-eyewear.com/eg and http://www.vogue-eyewear.com/eg_en. In the event of registrations or data attributable to the same identity, subsequent registrations to the first will not be valid. In such event, the only data that will be considered in order to distinguish different identities will be the email addresses. 2. It is specified that this promotion is not sponsored, administered or associated with Facebook or another social network in any way. 3. The competition is only open to people over the age of 18. Any entries attributable to minors will be invalidated, even at a later date. 4. The winners will receive notification thereof by email/telephone to the email address/telephone number supplied by them upon registering with the form. In the event of incorrect addresses or telephone numbers, the Sponsor shall not assume any liability. 5. Entering the competition is free of charge. The use of the internet to enter the competition will take place based on the internet tariff plan agreed with the entrant's service provider, without any extra charge. 6. It is hereby specified that the server used for the competition is located in Italy and that the data will always be stored on an Italian platform. 7. Any attempted fraud or incorrect or false declaration shall disqualify the entrant, even at a later date. 8. Entering this competition implies acceptance of every part of these Regulations without exceptions. OBLIGATIONS AND GUARANTEES
Personal data: 1. will be collected by the Sponsor for the purpose of managing the Contest through Luxottica Group S.p.A., subject to the information notice and disclaimer to be issued to the competition entrants upon registration; 2. will be processed with paper and IT tools; 3. may be shared with third parties working with the data controller for organising the Contest (in particular parties appointed for administrative procedures and to parties appointed with delivering the prizes) as deemed necessary by the Sponsor.). 4. entered in the forms will be used for sending the prizes in the event of winning the Contest, for sending information relative thereto, and for the publication of the names of the prize [winners] on the website. The data may be used also for marketing and promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, sales campaigns, other competitions for prizes, customer loyalty programs, profiling, sending of (informational) advertising material about our products, services and campaigns, sales offers and co-marketing campaigns, invitations to shows and event, market surveys. 5. may also be notified by the Sponsor to third parties (suppliers, partners, affiliates or agents). The Sponsor ensures that the data supplied by the Registered Applicants for entering the Contest will be used appropriately and so as to ensure data protection, in accordance with applicable law. Registered Applicants may at any time delete or oppose the use of their data for campaigns connected with sales or advertising, by writing to Luxottica Group S.p.A. directly. The data controllers are autonomously Luxottica Italia S.r.l. and Luxottica Group S.p.A. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions,
interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest, if it is possible. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. EXEMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY In any event of force majeure and/or unforeseeable circumstances that prevent the Sponsor from fulfilling its obligations deriving from these Regulations, the Sponsor will award prizes of the same nature and commercial value or greater value within 180 days of the assignment date. BENEFICIARY Any prizes that are not requested or not assigned may be donated at the discretion of the Sponsor. GOVERNING LAW These Rules and the Contest are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
