1. INVENTORY TRACKING This sample application is based on the following concept; Operator can start to make an inventory of a stock/warehouse. User (the operator make the inventory) Item Qty Location The shelf or the section where the item is stored If an item at the same location was already scanner the qty will be raised with the entered qty. Scanning items one by one will add the item with a quantity of 1. 1 DEMONSTRATE INVENTORY Download the source code project, and open it in the Designer. Connect the SRD650 to your PC via MDC In the Designer select Select \StorageCard\Kalipso as the folder to deploy the application Exit app, when running in simulator (on PC). When running on SRD650 Press Esc, Ent, Up The menu can be operated by tap on the item, or using keypad. 1 is Inventory, 2 is Settings 3 is Export. 1. 2 INVENTORY The employee should selct itself from the list With Esc the main menu will be presented. Document : SRD650-Design-Inventory.doc Page 2 of 12
Employee To Main menu or press ESC Item field Qty field Record counter Enter Item via keypad or via Scanner. When using the scanner it is best to set the scanners terminator to Tab. The most ideal operation is setting the scanner Prefix to > Suffix to < Terminator Tab If the item field is left blanc then the data is not stored. Left key will cycle to field Qty and Item. The Up key will allow previous data to be editted. Record counter If the Qty is changed to 0, the record will not be exported. The change of the data is stored with Ent key The Down key can be used to go down and create e new record. By the back button or Esc the main menu will displayed. 1. 3 EXPORT The export will show the pogress of the export through te several stages, This becomes helpful when data files are becoming large. If the export is done the screen will show This screen can be closed with ESC key or wait 2 seconds and will close automatically The data exported is available in \StorageCard folder (or C:\MIS\Data when executed in the simulator) The files can be Inventory.csv or InventoryERP.csv Document : SRD650-Design-Inventory.doc Page 6 of 12
1. 4 SETTINGS The standard password for entering settings is 650. 1. 4.1 Settings1, Export The first settings screen is regarding the Export Standard export is exporting the fields; Operator, Item, Qty The file of standard export is named Inventory.csv Items with qty equal to 0 are not exported Document : SRD650-Design-Inventory.doc Page 7 of 12
The CustomExport allow customer specific exporting format of the fields avaialable The custom export is saved as InventoryERP.csv The exit withhout saving press the back button or Esc key To save the data and go to next settings press Document : SRD650-Design-Inventory.doc Page 8 of 12
1. 4.2 Settings2, Data Collecting Employees can be blocked to operate the inventory. Select the corresponding row and press the Ent key, this will be indicated by the zero. If only one employee is set to 1 the inventory application will not ask the operator to selct him/her self when starting inventory.
