RTI Go Live HMRC are encouraging as many employers as possible to go live with RTI prior to the end of this tax year. For internet solutions, this means December or March as due to the load of SA in January and February no new employers will be activated by HMRC All employers paying less than 5000 employees must go live with RTI reporting from April 2013 Employers with more than 5000 employees are classified as a large employer for RTI purposes and are being asked by HMRC not to go live in April or May 2013. Large employers can choose a period between June and September 2013. If a large employer has several tax references, they can choose to activate all of their references in line with the larger ones. Approval should be sought from the HMRC RTI migration team
