STAHL Camera Systems is the solution provider of pressurized camera enclosure solutions featuring state-of-the-art SNF (sensor-controlled nitrogen filling) technology. Nitrogen filling SNF IP69K enclosure Compared to flameproof Ex d enclosures, the SNF technology offers a completely new type of protection: the enclosure is nitrogen-pressurized, and a pressure sensor permanently monitors the pressure inside the enclosure a considerable advantage over conventional purging solutions. Gasproof / waterproof Pressure monitoring R. STAHL cameras with SNF technology have been designed specifically for operation in hazardous areas, and require little to no maintenance due to the fact that the enclosure needs Nitrogen to be filling pressurized only IP69K enclosure once with nitrogen (N2), thus providing guaranteed ingress protection from any hazardous materials in the surrounding atmosphere throughout the entire lifetime of the product. STAHL s video surveillance management systems; live video images from the sight glass mounted, zoom, or pan/tilt cameras within the network can be monitored in the control room. The recording technology allows you to efficiently find video footage of incidents, and reactively conduct process analyses and troubleshooting. This video surveillance solution also provides enhanced safety in areas where gas and dust are the main explosive hazards. Software Solutions ISview video surveillance software for small-scale systems ISview is standard video management software designed to display real-time video from IP cameras and video encoders using VAPIX (AXIS) protocol. Software Solution SeeTec Cayuga TREE STRUCTURE The tree structure facilitates intuitive and quick navigation as found in Microsoft Windows operating systems. Cameras, buttons, floor plans and other interface elements can be grouped and assigned in clear, easy-to-use tree structures. GUARD PATROLS AND SERVER-BASED SEQUENCES Automated camera actions can be defined on client side using the guard patrol feature as well as on server side. It is possible to move to individual camera presets and to open camera windows and views. All actions can be carried out for a specified period of time. FLOOR PLANS Floor plans can be integrated in the software that deliver a complete overview of the area to be monitored. Cameras, doors, etc. can be positioned as icons and selected with a click. In case of an alarm, the triggering object is highlighted in red. ALARM LIST The list of alarms is sorted by priority: low, middle and high. An alarm can have four different states: open, reset, rejected and confirmed. Image of SeeTec 5 DRAG & DROP USER GUIDANCE Using Drag & Drop, all the components integrated in SeeTec 5, such as cameras, doors, barriers, etc. can be dragged and dropped onto floor plans, scaled, aligned and given the required functions. Complex Alarm Scenarios Based on pre-defined, complex alarm scenarios, simultaneous recording can be set for individual network cameras. Accessories Oil-damped camera bracket ensures clear images For the zoom cameras, R. STAHL provides oil-damped camera mounting brackets. The sophisticated damping system keeps the camera in a stable vertical position and eliminates vibrations caused by the crane operation, thus giving the operator a clear view of all areas. Sight glass mounting bracket for compact camera For reactor monitoring applications, R. STAHL offers sight glass camera mounting brackets that are ideally suited for sight glass monitoring of critical process stages. (Image shows bracket with sight glas and EC-710 camera) Wash & Wiper technology with water tank The EC-740-PTZ-SST camera's wiper function ensures a permanent clear view without requiring an engine of any kind. The optional 5 or 10 litre water tank mounted at a distance of up to 15 metres will supply the EC-740-PTZ-SST camera with spray water over a long period of time. The purely mechanical construction means that no electric connection is required for the water tank, making its installation extremely easy. Analogue, explosion-protected 7" and 15" monitors with control unit The 7" and 15" monitors support live monitoring and control of up to 4 cameras. Up to 3x EC-710, and 1x EC-740-AFZ-EX, or EC-800-TIC-EX at the 7" monitor, and up to 1x EC-710, and 3x EC-740 AFZ, or EC-800-TIC-EX at the 15" monitor. Hazardous Areas Video monitoring via extremely powerful 4x8 Panel PCs Based on the new i7 processors, these powerful 4x8 Panel PCs are ideal for network-based video monitoring. Equipped with high brightness displays, multi-touch functionality, brightness sensor, Bluetooth and camera interfaces, the 4x8 PCs can be used for many functions worldwide at temperatures ranging between -40 C and +65 C. Ex d Enclosures The explosion-proof Ex d enclosure system in stainless steel or aluminium allows to fit components into the enclosure that are not certified for use in explosive atmospheres. Thus, the Ex de enclosure systems allows you to use components in hazardous area Zone 1 that are originally designed for use in non-hazardous areas only. For each component, we have the ideal Ex d enclosure solution to suit your needs; we also offer turnkey solutions upon request. Ex e Junction Boxes Ex e junction boxes in stainless steel or glass fiber reinforced polyester resin are designed to connect single or flexible wires in hazardous areas. The installation directly at the Ex d enclosure is reasonable and technically possible, allowing for easy connection of the fitted components inside the enclosure. Control Box The Control Box connects camera(s) and monitor and supplies additional power to the connected camera(s). The Control Box supports up to 4 cameras. Apart from the monitor, the box allows for fast and easy integration of all necessary components into one box, and thus significantly reduces installation time.
