Traffic Management system overview: EDI capabilities Both the TMS and WMS have capabilities of communicating electronically. The TMS has been built on MS SQL database. This platform allows us to integrate easily with the system. Sheldon Clayton Logistics currently receives delivery/collection requests via flat file CSV s from its major client. Import formats can be mapped to individually meet each client s specification. File exports can also be tailored in the system to suit individual clients requirements. Sheldon Clayton also operates a FTP server which automatically polls for information to import into the system. This has mainly been utilised with partner companies to allow the faster transfer of electronic POD s.
