Configuring Rework Stations Configuring Rework Stations Rework can be configured as single- or dual-stage. In single-stage rework, one station is intended for both reviewing and repairing inspection results. In dual-stage rework, one station is dedicated to reviewing the full results of the Flex inspection and another station is dedicated to repairing the defects. Rework configuration options include: Single review/repair station: This option sets up the station to both review and repair defects. It can be configured on a combined Inspection and Rework station, but more commonly is located on an offline Rework station. Stage 1: Review-for-repair station: This option sets up the station to review defects and then pass them on to the offline repair station. It can be configured on a combined Inspection and Rework station or on a separate offline Rework station. Stage 2: Offline repair station: This option sets up the station to display defects needing repair. The Offline repair station is always configured on an offline Rework station.
