Sample Project Description
The Accelerator is led by Dr. Prof. Steven A. Gedeon, BSc, MSc, MBA, PEng, PE, PhD, a technology commercialization expert who has brought new products and services to market in high tech, manufacturing, automation, advanced materials, artificial intelligence, web-based applications, IT solutions, and software applications. A licensed Professional Engineer in the US and Canada, Steve has 3 engineering degrees and an MBA, including his Masters and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked in research and technology development laboratories in Italy, Germany, Canada and the US and conducted contract research with over 100 top-tier corporate customers. He has started or led over a dozen private, public, venture capital and non-profit organizations and published over 100 articles, reports and patents. Steve provides Technology Commercialization Coaching for Fraunhofer Venture and is a part of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft Intrapreneurship team. He is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Ryerson University, and Head of Entrepreneurship Education at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
