The main benefit of tagging assets is the ability to easily tie corrective work to the asset record capturing the right data to analyze full cost of asset ownership Current State Desired State Corrective work is not tied to the asset record Total cost of ownership is not visible for assets Tribal knowledge is the main source of asset information Assets are easily identifiable in the field by all trades Ambiguity around which asset record work is being performed on is removed QR codes are available to be scanned using mobile technology to retrieve additional asset information from Maximo or create a corrective with the asset information prepopulated The asset tagging process has helped improve asset data quality in Maximo by updating records with new information, de-activating nonexisting assets and creating new assets when necessary 4

Asset tagging was kicked off as a project with scope larger than simply placing tags on an asset Tag asset with QR Code Identify Asset to Tag Correct asset information in Maximo Take photos of asset Initially kicked off as a project, the asset tagging program was developed into a processes to maintain asset tags and asset quality De-activate inactive assets Identify asset missing in Maximo 5

Responsibilities are spread across the Facility Operations team to complete the tagging initiative Central Work Management Team Operation Supervisors Operation Managers Print and provide asset tags Update Maximo records as needed with collected data Provide process facilitator to perform the tagging and data collection and to coordinate with the operations supervisor in securing a tradesperson when needed Manage program and track progress status Provide status updates to the leadership team Review weekly tagging plan presented by the tagging facilitator Schedule tradesperson to work with facilitator when needed Review status updates and drive progress where needed 7

A mobile app was developed to be used to take photos and capture information from the field Mobile app was developed using IBM s MobileFirst platform (formally known as Worklight Confirm tagging status Identify which Life Critical activates are performed while work is completed Take multiple photos 11

About the IBM MobileFirst Platform The IBM MobileFirst Platform (formerly known as Worklight Foundation) is a platform for building mobile applications for the enterprise Maximo Anywhere and Everywhere are built upon the IBM MobileFirst platform 12

A universal type of form is used to process updates to existing assets or create new assets in Maximo Asset Information PM Requirements 1. The asset data form is intended to support multiple processes involving asset data gathering 13

A web-based tool was developed to manage and generate the content of the tags to be printed The portal displays all assets maintained through PM program in the past 24 months Status moved from queued to printed to tagged Tags are generated using Asset Number to retrieve tag details from Maximo 14

The web-based tagging portal also contains status reports to track the status of the program 15

Our next steps are utilizing the tags with mobile technology and re-visiting assets we were unable to tag during the first run 1 Mobile Technology Utilize tags during work execution to identify asset and retrieve record from Maximo Mobile pilot completed Q1 2016, full expansion planned for Q3 2016 2 Tagging Phase 2 Not all assets will be tagged 100% in the first run due to limitations such as asset locations (roof, overhead doors, etc.), accessibility, lack of knowledge and unknown requirements Estimated 10% of total assets Identify which assets require more durable stainless steel tags and create plan to tag remaining assets 3 Tagging Phase 3 Tag locations such as conference rooms and bathrooms for customer service request creation 23

We are also working on closing the gap from the field to Maximo to Documentum Capture data from field into Asset data forms Field Maximo (Work Management) Upload information in Maximo, create new records, deactive non-existing records Upload record documentation in Documentum (system of record) Documentum (Document Management) Area of Improvement Goal Maximo and Documentum are in sync with the most up to date information from the field 24
