1 Getting Started with the License Administration Workbench 2.0 This short introduction is intended for administrators who are carrying out a license audit and want to consolidate license measurement data with the License Administration Workbench 2.0 (LAW 2.0). To quickly get started with LAW 2.0, the standard processing steps involved in the consolidation are described below. You can find detailed information about the all the functions in LAW 2.0 in the help texts, which can be called up from the question mark icon. 1.1 Prerequisites SAP NetWeaver Release (SAP_BASIS) 7.02 (Support Package 13 or higher) or 7.40 is installed. Make sure you have applied the newest version. The Internet Graphics Service (IGS) and the Adobe Document Services (ADS) must be available and configured correctly. The measurement results from the component systems are available as files (.txt or.xml), or can be transferred over a predefined RFC connection to SAP component systems. You use the LAW system overview sent with the measurement request to display all the systems whose measurement data you want to consolidate in LAW 2.0. All necessary system data (system number, installation number, hardware key, system ID) are already contained in the system overview. In addition, individual consolidation rules and engine usage information can be imported with the system overview.
