CHEMICAL PRODUCT AND COMPANY IDENTIFICATION Product/Trade Name: Chemical Family: Product Use: Manufacturer: CP200 VisiJet Build Material Organic Mixture For use in the ProJet CP Modelers Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS): (Degree of hazard: 0 = low, 4 = extreme); Health 1 Flammability 0 Physical Hazards Personal Protection: Skin and eye protection In the U.S./Canada Manufacturer Contact 3D Systems Corporation 333 Three D Systems Circle Rock Hill, SC 29730 For Information Telephone: (803) 326-3900 Technical Support: (803) 326-4080 Emergency 800.424.9300 - Chemtrec II. COMPOSITION INFORMATION CAS # Component Percent 8002-74-2 Paraffin 60 100% III. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Emergency Overview Is not hazardous under OSHA Hazard Communications. Potential Health Effects: Eyes: Skin: Ingestion: Inhalation: Fumes may cause light irritation to eyes Not expected to be absorbed through the skin. Wax, when heated, can cause skin burn. No available data, not known to be hazardous Inhalation of fumes could cause mild upper respiratory irritation. Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure None known. IV. FIRST AID MEASURES Skin: If molten material gets on skin, cool rapidly with cold water. Do not attempt to peel material from skin. Use mineral oil to loosen the material. Seek medical attention for burns. Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms persist. Inhalation: Move affected person to fresh air. If respiratory irritation occurs, if breathing becomes difficult seek medical attention immediately. Ingestion: Ingestion is unlikely. If ingested, drink plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Flash Point: >207 C (405 F) Upper Flammable Limit (UFL): NA Auto Ignition: NA Rate of Burning: NA Method Used: NA Lower Flammable Limit (LFL): NA Flammability Classification: NA 1 0 0 NFPA Ratings 0 = Minimal 1 = Slight 2 = Moderate 3 = Serious 4 = Severe General Fire Hazards: As with most solid or particulate organic materials, extremely high dust concentration in air can result in a potential explosion hazard. During normal use, some airborne crystals are generated, but between their low concentration and good housekeeping, an explosion risk is not expected. Hazardous Combustion Products: Thermal decomposition products include oxides of aluminum. Reactions with strong acids and alkalis cause release of flammable hydrogen gas. Extinguishing Media: Water mist, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or appropriate foam. Fire Fighting Equipment/Instructions: Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. Dust is not expected to be generated in the event of a fire. VI. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Containment Procedures: Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk. Ventilate contaminated area. Eliminate sources of ignition. Avoid the generation of dusts during clean up. Clean-Up Procedures: Evacuation Procedures: Special Procedures: VII. Wear appropriate protective equipment and clothing, including a ground strap, during clean up. If material is molten, allow it to freeze before clean up. Scrape the material loose from the floor if necessary, and vacuum or sweep the solid material into a closed container. Use internally and externally explosion-proof vacuum equipment with appropriate electrical classification per National Electrical Code, Article 502 or use nonsparking tools. Avoid the generation of dusts during clean up. Place material in an appropriate container for disposal. Keep unnecessary personnel away. NA HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling Procedures: No special measures necessary in normal use of product. Storage Procedures: VIII. Keep this material in a cool (<35 C (95 F)), dry, well-ventilated place. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Exposure Guidelines General Product Information: Follow all applicable exposure limits. ACGIH TLV OSHA PEL Nuisance dust 10 mg/m 3 * 15 mg/m 3* * This substance is regulated by OSHA as a Particulate Not Otherwise Regulated (PNOR). The exposure limits listed for both OSHA and ACGIH refer to total dust; the OSHA PEL for the respirable fraction is 5 mg/m 3. During normal use, these concentrations are not expected to be reached. Engineering Controls Use explosion-proof local exhaust ventilation. Ventilation should effectively remove and prevent buildup of any airborne material generated by the use of this product. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Eyes/Face: Skin: Respiratory: General: Wear chemical goggles. Use impervious gloves and apron. If ventilation cannot effectively keep dust concentrations below established limits, appropriate NIOSH approved respiratory protection must be provided. An eye wash fountain is recommended.
