User Guide P a g e 2 1 Trend Mov Avg Displays intermediate trend based on position of Moving Averages, relative to each other. Criteria: Green if the 20 MA is greater than the 50 MA, Red if the 20 MA is lesser than the 50 MA; otherwise Yellow. 2 4-Week Relative Strength vs SPX Displays the relative strength value of the symbol on the chart versus the SPX; uses the TradeStation Fundamental Data: PR04WKPCTR. 3 Implied Volatility Percentile Displays a 180-period IV Percentile for the symbol on the chart; uses the ATM W Avg IV. Criteria: Green if the IV is low, Yellow if the IV is moderate-to-high, and Red if the IV is high. 4 The Five Indicators Each of the five indicators displays an up (Green) arrow, down (Red) arrow, or neutral (Yellow) hyphen based on their criteria (shown below). MACD Displays markers for the MACD indicator. Criteria: Green if MACD (12) is above the MACD Avg (26) and above the zero line, Red if MACD (12) is below the MACD Avg (26) and below the zero line; otherwise Yellow. RSI Displays oversold (Green), overbought (Red), or neutral (Yellow) for the RSI indicator. Criteria: Green if RSI is below 30, Red if RSI is above 70; otherwise Yellow. Stoch (Stochastic Slow) Displays same as RSI, but using the Stochastic Slow indicator. Criteria: Green if Stoch is 20 or below, Red if Stoch is 80 or above; otherwise Yellow. Aroon Displays the relative position (AroonUp vs AroonDn) of the Aroon indicator. Criteria: Green if AroonUp is greater than AroonDn, Red if AroonDn is greater than AroonUp; this indicator will only display Yellow if no data or if calculation doesn t occur. ADX Displays markers for trend direction and strength using the ADX. Criteria: Green if ADX is greater than 22 and the trend is up, Red if ADX is greater than 22 and trend is down; otherwise (if not trending in either direction) Yellow.
User Guide P a g e 3 1 Valuation Model Meter This meter is based on three well-known growth measures: - EPS Percent Change (YoY) - ROE (FY) - Revenues Percent Change (YoY) Criteria: Green if the above measures (collectively) are good, Red if poor, and Yellow if fair. 2 Fundamentals These values are all direct from TradeStation s Fundamental Data (no extra calculations are used): - PE/Ratio displays normalized Price Earnings (FY) using TradeStation s APENORM FundData. - Qtrly Div displays Dividends per Share (Common Stock Primary Issue) using TradeStation s DDPS1 FundData. - PEG/Ratio displays EPS Growth Rate (5-Year) using TradeStation s EPSTRENDGR FundData. Please note that if any of these values display 0.00 then you might be working offline, or your internet connection could be having difficulty getting data; however it is also important to note that some symbols do not have this data available to them. 3 Industry & Last Earnings This area simply displays the industry name that the currently selected symbol belongs to, and the number of days since the last earnings occurred for that symbol (uses TradeStation s EPS Posting). 4 IV Event Alert & Expected Move (1 Week, 1 Month) The IV Event Alert triggers when IV is unusually high (this typically means that some event is imminent, such as Earnings), and otherwise it will display No Event Alert. 1 Wk Exp Move shows a 1 STD DEV expected move based on TradeStation s IVolatility data 0. 1 Mo Exp Move shows the same calculation as above, but is monthly instead of weekly. Note 0 : TradeStation s IVolatility data uses third-party ATM W Avg IV. 5 Volatility Statistical Volatility displays the annualized statistical volatility (for the last 30 days of closing prices) for the current symbol by using the STD DEV of closing prices method. ATM W Avg ImpVol displays the IV of the options, as provided by TradeStation s IVolatility data.
User Guide P a g e 4 Earnings Meter The Earnings Meter shows the overnight percent move of a stock (from close to close 1 ) after earnings has been reported 2, but also ranks the percent move using colors (Green, Red, or Yellow). Color Criteria: Green if greater than (or equal to) 5% UP (i.e. +5%); Red if greater than (or equal to) 5% DOWN (i.e. -5%); otherwise Yellow. Note 1 : Requires between 14 and 16 months of data to display 4 earnings postings. Note 2 : Not intended to work in weekly or monthly charts (daily charts only). Symbol Calculations This area displays: - The current symbol. - The current symbol s 52-Week High, in dollars (rounded up). - The current symbol s 52-Week Low, in dollars (rounded up). - The current symbol s 4-Week Percent Change 3 (shown as a percent). - The current symbol s 13-Week Percent Change 3 (shown as a percent). - The current symbol s 26-Week Percent Change 3 (shown as a percent). - The current symbol s 52-Week Percent Change 3 (shown as a percent). Note 3 : Percent change calculation is based on the closing price of x number of weeks ago (4/13/26/52) versus the closing price of the current (last) bar on the chart.
