It is a predictive approach which allows for component deterioration to be recognized before unexpected failure occurs. As part of your risk based inspection program for structural steel, a strategy is needed for: PLAN: Follow a RBI strategy, issue the right type of NDE/visual method for the least cost and max pay back.
