Global User & Partner Conference Program Overview About the event Evolution, Descartes Global User & Partner conference, is the pinnacle event where Descartes customers and partners from around the world get together to network with other Descartes users, meet the Descartes product management team, provide input on Descartes product development plans, and learn more about Descartes solutions and how to improve their operations. Descartes Route Planner ADVANCED Learn more about how parameters and optimizer settings in Descartes Route Planner affect routing results so that you can use this knowledge to improve route quality within your fleet operations. Domain experts will also educate participants on the use of different modeling techniques to further understand how different scenarios within the solution can address a variety of complex private fleet operations. Descartes Airclic Perform INTERMEDIATE+ Existing users can join this training session to learn how key features on the Perform mobile platform, like industry vertical oriented payment processes, high volume cross docking, electronic driver vehicle inspection reporting (edvir) can help improve productivity across your last mile delivery operations. Purchased Transportation Descartes Transportation Manager INTERMEDIATE+ Join this session to become more productive with tips, shortcuts and best practices for managing the entire for-hire shipment lifecycle including planning, tendering, tracking, settlement and reporting. Also gain a better understanding of how to better manage shipment data as well as the different parameters and settings that can affect for-hire shipment optimization. Forwarder/Broker Descartes OneView Freight Forwarder/Customs House Broker and Accounting INTERMEDIATE (Please note that this session will require 2 separate 2-hour sessions): This session will focus on helping existing solution users improve control, visibility and performance across their logistics operations. Learn best practices and advanced techniques across key Descartes OneView modules including Forwarding, Customs House Brokerage and Accounting to be able to effectively handle more shipments with less overhead. Descartes ecellerate INTERMEDIATE Managing international trade has never been more complex. Existing users are encouraged to participate in the workshop to better understand Descartes ecellerate best practices and techniques. The workshop will focus on helping attendees improve control of their supply chain and logistics data, while better collaborating with customers and trading partners when managing shipments from purchase order, bookings, security filing and customs entries all the way through to warehousing and final delivery. Descartes Editrade Customs Link INTERMEDIATE Descartes Editrade Customs Link solution experts will train participants on best practices and application-specific tips and techniques designed to help existing users understand and use new functionality, maximize performance, reduce costs and improve US customs regulatory compliance. Global Trade Content & Compliance Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Customs Self Assessment (CSA) INTERMEDIATE The goal of this workshop will be to help users improve the understanding and use of the ITMR4 CSA solution.
