Preface The Oracle Hospitality Payment Gateway Services provide a payment card processing solution that integrates with the Oracle Hospitality Point-of-Sale (POS) and the Oracle Hospitality OPERA systems. Purpose Audience These Release Notes provide a brief overview of additions, enhancements, and corrections implemented in this software release. Their intent is informative, not instructional. This document is intended for the Oracle Hospitality Payment Gateway Services customer. 1 Features and Updates This section lists the new features and updates in this release. The application now supports Java 8. In the United States, this release supports credit card payment processing through Merchant Link for Oracle Hospitality Point-of-Sale (POS) customers. In the United Kingdom, this release supports contactless feature for Barclay Card merchants. This release supports credit card payment processing for Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant functionality through FirstData integration In Korea, you can integrate the KICC payment processing solution with the Oracle Hospitality RES 3700 Point-of-Sale. In the United States when integrating with Elavon and an Oracle Hospitality Point-of-Sale, you can now use multi-token transaction processing, EMV chip cards, and PINs for debt card transactions. Unless otherwise noted, the supported Oracle Hospitality POS systems include: Oracle Hospitality Simphony Oracle Hospitality Simphony First Edition Oracle Hospitality 9700 Oracle Hospitality RES 3700 Features and Updates 1-1

2 Resolved Issues This section provides a brief overview of resolved issues in this software release. Clarify # ID Description 825 Elevon merchants can now save transactions offline. This enables the transactions to send and process automatically when the system connects back online. 17146424 789 In the Australia region, if you are using a CBA solution and processing a Pay Only transaction, when the Ingencio device does not respond the Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS and MPG systems now reject the transaction. 535 In the Australia region, when using Travelex, the Endof-Day report and the Exception Report now print correctly. 16906740 533 Ecommerce integrations using the Global Collect payment provider and Oracle Hospitality OPERA PMS, can now reverse a transaction. 528 For the Planet Payment integrations, the China UnionPay transactions using a Verifone Vx680 PINPAD can now process the payment and the tip amount posts on the Oracle Hospitality POS check. 526 In Hong Kong, integrations using the Planet Payment solution can now print the receipt from the Oracle Hospitality POS. 2-2 Resolved Issues
