HOW TO LOGIN 1)Make Sure you already Signed up at http://xwireless.net/ 2) Visit http://xwireless.net/ 3) Enter your username (Login ID). 4) Enter your password 5) Click the Login button 6) If the entered username and password are correct, you will be directed to the sms panel but if details are wrong, you will either get a prompt that you have entered wrong details or you will advised to reset your password. www.xwireless.net Page 5

SEND EASY SMS 1) Click on Compose SMS. 2) Make sure Number is selected in the message type TAB. 3) Select the Country you wish to send SMS to. 4) In the Sender ID text box, type the desired sender ID (This will appear on the recipient's phone as the sender of the message). NB: This should be a maximum of 11 Digits including. 5) In the Recipients Number Field a. Type the phone numbers directly (Maximum of 100 Numbers recommended). The phone numbers can be separated by any of the following comma, space or put each number on a separate line. b. Numbers can be copied from excel or notepad and pasted directly in the Number Field. 6) Type in message into Text Message Field. NB: First Page= 160 Characters, subsequent pages are 151 Characters. NB: ENTER on your keyboard is calculated as two Digits when SMS are sent. Pls do not use the ENTER key when typing your message. 7) Click SEND to Send SMS. 7.2. SEND GROUP SMS 1) Click on Compose SMS. 2) Select Group in the message type TAB. 3) Select the Group you want to to Send Message to. 4) Select the Country you wish to send SMS to. 5) In the Sender ID text box, type the desired sender ID (This will appear on the recipient's phone as the sender of the message). NB: This should be a maximum of 11 Digits including. 6) Type in message into Text Message Field. NB: First Page= 160 Characters, subsequent pages are 151 Characters. SEND ADVANCE CSV SMS 1) Click on Compose SMS. 2) Select Advance CSV in the message type TAB. 3) Sample Excel CSV 4) Make sure Excel is saved as CSV MS-Dos 5) Click on Browse in front of Select File and navigate to Directory where your Excel CSV is saved, then select to upload 6) Select the Country you wish to send SMS to. 7) In the Sender ID text box, type the desired sender ID (This will appear on the recipient's phone as the sender of the message). NB: This should be a maximum of 11 Digits including. 7) Type in message into Text Message Field 8) Click SEND SMS 9) There shall be a preview of your campaign, if you are sure you want to continue, click on SEND SMS to complete your campaign 8.0. MESSAGE TYPE X-Wireless Bulk SMS Platform offers the following type of SMS 8.1) Standard SMS The standard SMS can contain up to 160 characters. However, these characters must be part of the GSM-7 bit default alphabet. This alphabet contains all ASCII characters, some accented characters and some Greek symbols. See a complete overview of the GSM-7 bit default alphabet. To send messages with this message type, make sure TEXT is selected when sending SMS as in the screenshot below. www.xwireless.net Page 14

8.11. GSM Alphabet Standard SMS can contain 160 characters. However, the characters typed must be part of the 7-bit default alphabet as specified by GSM 3.38. You can see in the table below that this alphabet contains all ASCII characters and some accented characters.for example, u umlaut (ü) and e with grave (è), are in this set. Please study the table below to have a complete overview. Using any character not in this set, will make the SMS a Unicode SMS and limit the length of the SMS to 70 characters. Note: a few characters actually count as two characters. These characters are: {}[]~ \ and the Euro symbol: You can also see that in the table below in the hex column. These characters need to be escaped. Below is the 7 bit default alphabet as specified by GSM 03.38. The corresponding ISO-8859-1 decimal codes are shown in the rightmost column. Note that the euro sign ( ) is also included. 8.2. Unicode SMS When you need to use characters outside the GSM 7-bit alphabet, your SMS will become a Unicode SMS. Unicode SMS can only contain 70 characters. Please first test reception. Not all mobile networks support Unicode SMS. For example, Unicode SMS is not supported for US mobile number destinations. To send messages with this message type, make sure UNICODE sending SMS as in the screenshot below. is selected when 8.3. Flash SMS Flash SMS is a message that appears directly on the phone screen, instead of being routed to the inbox. It is a useful alternative to Standard SMS when you want to capture the recipient s attention immediately. 9.0. MY GROUPS My Groups is designed to help simplify the process of group management. 9.1. To ADD a New Group 1) In the main menu, click on My Groups 2) Click on ADD NEW Tab. 3) Type in your desired Group Name and Description. 4) Click SAVE 9.2. To UPLOAD Contact to Group 1) In the main menu, click on My Groups 2) Click on EDIT in front of Group Name you wish to upload contact to as in screenshot below 3) Click on Import CSV as in the screenshot below (NB: You can only upload CSV Files). www.xwireless.net Page 20

To Add Contact List to Group 1) In the main menu, click on My Groups 2) Click on EDIT in front of Group Name you wish to upload contact to as in screenshot below 3) Click on CONTACT LIST Tab 4) Click on ADD NEW 5) Complete the form and Click SAVE 10.0. MY SMS TEMPLATE From this menu, you can create and save SMS templates. SMS templates are very useful. Add the number of Units you want new clients to be assigned one they sign up. h) Default Register Role: Assign privileges to new registrations. i) Allowed Domains: This is the domain Name of your Site e.g mycompanyname.com j) Temporary Sub-Domain: This is sub domain for SMS Panel where clients will have access to register or send sms e.g smsc.mycompanyname.com.
