BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING QUICK GUIDE For Company System Administrators

Introduction At Mercantil Commercebank, we are committed to safeguarding your identity online with the best technology available. This quick guide will provide you with information about the Business Online Banking with simple, easy-to-follow instructions for Company System Administrators. It s all right here how to set up authentication credentials, how to set up user privileges, and how to activate your company. Authentication Credentials Set Up Your Business Online Banking Authentication Credentials feature is an easy way to help prevent fraud and identity theft. It consists of three parts: An image, a phrase, and three confidential challenge questions. In conjunction with your MCB Business Online Banking Access Key SM a security device that will allow you secure and convenient access from anywhere, anytime - help protect you, whether you are signing in to online banking from your own computer, or from any other computer. This is an additional security step that can help prevent fraud and identity theft in two ways. First, it can help you verify that you are at the genuine online banking site and not a fake look alike site. Second, we will recognize you, and if we don't, we'll ask one of your secret challenge questions. Authentication Credentials uses an image, a phrase associated with the image, and three challenge questions that nobody else knows. When you log in, we'll show your secret image and phrase. This verifies that you are at the correct online banking site. You can still access online banking from other computers, but the first time using any computer you will have to verify your authentication by means of a challenge question. This way, we will know it's really you using your login ID, and you will know it's safe to enter your password. As a closing step to the Authentication Credentials creation s process you will be prompted to enter the 6 digits number that appears on the digital display on the front of your MCB Business Online Banking Access Key. Please keep your device at hand. This section describes the steps you need to follow to set up your new Authentication Credentials. 1 Go to www.mercantilcb.com and click the Business Online Banking Login link. 2 Enter your current Company ID, User ID and select Login. 2 I BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING Quick Guide

3 The following screen will display. Enter your current Password and select Continue. 7 Select the Challenge Questions and Answers of your preference and click Continue. 4 For security reasons you will be required to change your current Password. Enter your current password in the Old Password field and your New Password in the fields indicated. Select Continue. 8 Verify that all your Authentication Credentials display correctly in the verification screen below and click on Continue. If not, follow the instructions to edit your selections as needed. 5 You can leave the Image that appears as a default or change it by selecting the Change Image link. To create the Phrase simply type it in on the indicated field. 9 The Authentication Credentials Setup Successful screen will show as follows. Click on Continue to move to the next screen. 6 If you decided to change the Image, the following screen will display. Select the image of your preference from any category by clicking directly on it and the application will automatically take you back to the Create Authentication Credentials Screen where you will need to create a Phrase as per instructions and verify that it is accepted when clicking Continue. 10 After successfully authenticating, the application will take you to the Enter Token Authentication Credentials screen. Enter the 6 digits number that appears on the digital display on the front of your MCB Business Online Banking Access Key and click Continue. Token Code BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING Quick Guide I 3

Please remember that each Token Code is only valid for one attempted use and only during the time interval when it is displayed. If you try to authenticate, successfully or not, the current Token Code may not be used again. You must wait until the Token Code Number changes before trying to authenticate again. This means that you may have to wait up to 60 seconds between authentication attempts. 11 The application will take you to the My Bank screen. You are now ready to begin banking online safely! User Privileges Set Up This section provides the steps to follow to provide your users with a profile with privileges over accounts in Business Online Banking. These instructions cover setting up profiles or privileges to your users. We recommend that the Company System Administrator has a list of all the users available if there is more than one user in the present version under your company profile as well as all the users privileges to have them ready for further reference on setting up your users. 1 Go to www.mercantilcb.com and click the Business Online Banking Login link. 2 Enter your current Company ID, User ID and select Login. 4 I BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING Quick Guide

3 Confirm that your pre-selected Image and Phrase is correct and enter your Password. Do not proceed if you don t recognize them. In that case, please contact our Online Support Call Center immediately. If the information is correct, Select Continue. 6 The Administer User Entitlements Screen will appear. After validating the user(s) information, proceed to the bottom portion of the page titled Users Access. In this section you will select the privilege applicable for each user. 4 Enter the 6 digits number that appears on your MCB Business Online Banking Access Key (Token Code) and click Continue. Token Code Please remember that each Token Code is only valid for one attempted use and only during the time interval when it is displayed. If you try to authenticate, successfully or not, the current Token Code may not be used again. You must wait until the Token Code changes before trying to authenticate again. This means that you may have to wait up to 60 seconds between authentication attempts. 7 The Entitle Accounts screen will allow you to specify both the Entitlement Options and the Amount Restrictions you want to give to the users: Entitlement Options: a) Full Rights - provides access to all transactions on all accounts. If the user is not an approver, then the user will have full rights to prepare all transactions on all accounts 5 Once you are logged click on the Administration Tab and select User Entitlements. The Users page will appear with all the current user(s) under the Company or Group of Companies. Click on the user you wish to manage/update under the 1st column USER NAME. b) Custom Rights provides specific approver rights or specific accounts. If the user is not an approver, than the user will be given specific preparer rights on specific accounts c) None - Your user will not have any rights to do or approve transactions on any of the accounts Amount Restrictions: a) Daily Limit the maximum amount per day b) Transaction Limit the maximum amount per transaction Select the box titled Approver if you wish for the user(s) to approve payments and transfers. If not, the user(s) will either be able to prepare wire transfers or simply inquire on account information. BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING Quick Guide I 5

Once you have selected the profile for your user, click on Save and Continue to save the changes. 8 If you select a Custom level of entitlement, you have determined that the user will have rights to prepare or approve transactions on specified amounts and specified transactions. The Customize Account Entitlements screen will display. The Customize Account Entitlements page provides the following options you can select for the company users: a) Information Reporting provides detailed transaction reporting from same day and previous day operations, together with online statement downloading. b. Payments allows user transactional rights to ACH Direct Deposits to 3rd parties, internal wire transfers, and wire transfers to a 3rd party, both domestically and internationally. c. Templates allows user to create or prepare templates for 3rd party ACH Direct Deposits, and domestic and international wires. d. Services allows users to place check stop payments, request check copies, and request statement copies. 9 Click on the Custom link of the selected user, under the column Entitlements, to review your selections on the Entitlements Report. Company Users Administration Once your Company System Administrator s MCB Business Online Access Key is activated, it will be necessary for you to set up and activate each individual MCB Business Online Access Key for each company user. This document describes the steps to follow by the Company System Administrator to activate the users MCB Business Online Access Keys. 6 I BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING Quick Guide

1 Go to www.mercantilcb.com and click the Business Online Banking Login link. 5 In the Login ID field proceed to enter a valid User ID. 2 Enter your current Company ID, User ID and select Login. 6 Click on Validate User hyper link. Once the validation of the Login ID is completed and you verified the user information is correct, click on Save and Exit. 3 Enter the 6 digits number that appears on the digital display on the front of your MCB Business Online Banking Access Key or Token and click Continue. Token Code Please remember that each Token Code (6 digit number) is only valid for one attempted use and only during the time interval when it is displayed. If you try to authenticate, successfully or not, the current Token Code may not be used again. You must wait until the Token Code changes before trying to authenticate again. This means that you may have to wait up to 60 seconds between authentication attempts. 7 If you wish to un-assign MCB Business Online Banking Key or Token, select it from the Token Administration Screen list (refer to screen 4), and select the Remove Token From User button: 4 Go to the Administration Tab and click on Tokens. The screen displays all unassigned MCB Business Online Access Keys for the Company. Select any unassigned MCB Business Online Access Key by clicking the Token Number hyper link.
