Third Party Reservations Dashboard on FrontDesk Live dashboard now on Hotelogix FrontDesk for all third party bookings. This gives you real-time view of all bookings received from channels, along with their statuses even if there is some that did not sync (failed). Cause for an error, if any, is captured alongside (under Messages column) so that you can address it immediately. Simply review the error message to resolve the issue and re-push the Reservation. Example - if a Reservation did not sync due to incorrect Room-Type setup, just correct the setup and re-push the Reservation using the Re-push button on Page 2
FrontDesk. Where to look for the link? On your FrontDesk, under Room Operations, you will find a link titled 3rd Party Reservation List. This will open up a tab showing list of Reservations received from all external sources. The list is searchable based on time received or Check-In date. You can filter the Reservations based on Failed/Success/Duplicate and Pending. This list is printable and exportable. The list will include the Date and Timestamp for: Received On (Reservation received in Hotelogix) GMT time Created On (Reservation created in Hotelogix PMS) GMT time Message column includes the reason in case the Reservation failed to show-up on FrontDesk. Res Status Channel - This gives the status of Reservation as received from Channel. This can be: Commit = means Reserved Modify = Modification Cancel = Cancelled Action = gives you the option to take the corrective measure and Re-Push the Reservation on your FrontDesk. 1.2 Reports Manager Flash - MTD & YTD Report MTD & YTD Report is a wonderful addition to Night Audit Reports; we are excited about this new report and hope you are too. This is a flash report that will give you quick snapshot of key financial and operational data of your Hotel all at one place. This one-page report is of great Page 3
help to the management that gives month to date (MTD) and year to date (YTD) figures on % Rooms Occupied, ADR, Total Revenue and much more. MTD means from the beginning of the current month until date. YTD means from January 1 of the current year to date. By default, this report will run on Night Audit Date. The report is exportable. Agency Report We are excited to introduce the Agency Report in Reports section (Reports >> Direct Billing Report >> Agency Report) This is a summarized report that will show you revenue generated from each Travel Agent and Corporate giving business to your Hotel. The report is exportable. 1.3 Others Publish Real Time Availability for Group of Properties Hotelogix offers the dashboard API which can be integrated to any of your third party system/cro/digital Marketing tool to pull and publish up-to-the-minute Availability Dashboard, and get Reservation details in real time. New Bookings, Check-Ins, Check-Outs, Cancellations and DNRs- everything on this dashboard will be seamlessly updated through Hotelogix API. 2. ENHANCEMENTS 2.1 Hotelogix Accounts Xero Enhancement Hotelogix now lets you have common or distinct Account Code for each item based on its Category, Product or POS. With Xero Code enhancement, you may now have department wise Account Codes for POS Points, POS Categories and POS Products. This gives you greater control and flexibility to group your sales in Xero and organize/bifurcate them to suit your exact needs. An Account Code can be setup based on the POS it belongs to or it s Category or even separately for each product (item). Page 4
Example: Say you sell Coffee at your Coffee Shop, under Category Non Alcoholic Beverages A/c Code for Non Alcoholic Beverages = NonAlcBvg_Sale A/c Code for the POS Coffee Shop = CoffeeShop_Sale You may assign Expresso Coffee its own A/c Code, say ExpCoffee_Sale What if no A/c code is specified for Expresso Coffee? By default, it will sell under the Account Code of its Category i.e. NonAlcBvg_Sale In absence of Category A/c Code, Expresso Coffee will bear the Account Code of the POS i.e. CoffeeShop_Sale 2.2 Channel Management HotelRunner Reservations HotelRunner Reservations, Ref ID will now capture the Reservation ID generated by channel. Please note that you can still view the Reservation ID generated by HotelRunner in the Reservation form, under Preferences. Reconline modifications synced to Hotelogix automatically Hotelogix has enabled the feature to sync Reservation modifications received from Reconline automatically on your FrontDesk. 2.3 FrontDesk Generating Folios now optimized You may now generate folios with enhanced speeds. Enjoy an optimized FrontDesk! 2.4 Reports Night Audit Revenue Report We have enhanced our Night Audit Revenue Report to give a detailed break - Page 5
down to the summary. Room Revenue can be drilled down to give Reservation wise details. POS Revenue shows related transactions when clicked for break up. Optimization of Employee Wise Activity Log Employee Wise Activity Log has been optimized for improved performances. The report now shows up with pagination. Please note that this report will now show you logs for a maximum period of 45 days. We have done this to ensure faster report execution. 2.5 Web Reservations Enhancements in TA & Corporate Console Group Cancel is now made available. Group Owners can now cancel the Group Reservation in one stroke from their TA/Corporate console. 2.6 Hotelogix CRS CRS Optimization Here s another yet significant optimization effort towards Hotelogix CRS. For improved performances, we have again upgraded our Central Reservation System section through Web API to show you minimum rate and availability for each available CRS hotel. 3. BUGS 3.1 FrontDesk Deleted Tasks Issue System continued to show tasks even after deletion in View Mode of the Reservation. We have fixed this issue now. Pending/Lapsed Booking Deposits The Reservation Audit Trail now captures Reservation ID whenever an email reminder for pending and overdue booking deposits is sent to Guests. Page 6
3.2 Reports Monthly Summary Report Custom charges added from FrontDesk now show up under Room Rent in Monthly Summary Report. You can also look for these charges separately under Other Charges (FrontDesk) in its detailed report. History and Forecast Report Few of the reported issues in Total RevPAR shown in History and Forecast Report have been fixed now. Google Chrome Compatibility Issues Hotelogix is now compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome. Print issues discovered in Reports section/housekeeping Console in this regard have been resolved now.
