HISTORY Our company was established in moji-ku, Kitakyusyu on October 24, 1947 by the late Mitsuru Okano, as a marketing board of Okano Va1ve Mfg.Co., Ltd. for the purpose of developing the market of high temperature and high pressure valves for thermal power plant and chemical industry. Since then, we have been selling various valves, joint bolt and anti seizing devices "SMOCON" as the sole sales agent of Karatsu Valve Industries Co., Ltd. and Supero Kikai Kogyo Co., Ltd., gradually expanding business, opened business offices in Tokyo, Osaka, Kitakyusyu, Chiba, Yokkaichi, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki. In this way, we have developed as a specialized trading company dealing with various valves, bolts, super-high pressure parts and furthermore industrial equipments. The sales activities to customers we have engaged in range widely,from steel industries to machinery, electric power, petroleum, chemical, paper & pulp, shipbuilding, local government etc.. To answer the customer's expectation and accomplishment of our company's management policy "Products for the real benefit of customers", we are promoting diversification of products and development of superior products actively. 1947 October: Established by the late Mitsuru Okano 1948 April: Opened Osaka Office 1949 October: Consigned manufacturing OTC brand(abbreviation of OKANO TRADING CO., LTD.) valves to Karatsu Valve Industries Co., Ltd., and as the sole sales agent of Karatsu Valve, we have been engaged in marketing valves to various customers. 1950 January: Started sales of products of Supero Kikai Kougyo Co., Ltd. established by the Mitsuru Okano, manufacturer of bolt nut for high temperature and Pressure, as the sole sales agent.
