Key points to Take Home Asset Information Management is about raising the quality of asset master data which is the key to successful maintenance execution, risk and safety management. SAP has significantly invested into these areas and is further enhancing these capabilities to ensure: performance, risk and costs can be managed in a coherent manner, a high accuracy of master data can be achieved by an improved user experience a match occurs between real world and system data through respective tools and interfaces to sensor data, new possibilities for visualization on all end-user devices are being provided, a new solution is being delivered for guiding change management. NRX and SAP are working on a detailed roadmap to further harmonize and embrace existing solutions from the Business Objects portfolio and the SAP Master Data Management solutions, while adding asset specific content.
