OMG and GCIO Began work on GBMM with GCIO Long history of experience in bringing people together to work on common problems Established list of members, strong support in both user and vendor community Forums to collaborate and share information Experience in consortiums of this type: SOA- C and BPM-C OMG Inc. acquired GCIO, January 2009 GCIO to operate as an advocacy group in cooperation with OMG standards group, BPM-C and SOA-C
