APPLIED COMPUTER SCIENCE MULTIMEDIA PROGRAM Recently, computer multimedia technology has been developing rapidly. Computer multimedia technology has been applied to use in many fields such as advertisement, public relation, business, and education etc. More use computer multimedia technology in many fields; more persons who have knowledge in computer multimedia technology are in demand. However, there is very low number of educational institutes which are producing persons in this technology. The School of Industrial Education, King Mongkut s University of Technology Thonburi, is aware of the lack of persons in this field. Thus, the school operates the Bachelor of Science Program in Applied Computer Science - Multimedia which has the objectives as follow : 1.To produce the persons who have knowledge and ability in developing and using the modern computer multimedia technology. 2.To study and research on the modern computer multimedia technology. 3.To research and develop on self teaching and learning access. This bachelor degree program is designed with courses in the basic areas such as sciences, mathematics, Thai, English, societies, and humanity and the specific areas such as education, electronics, art and design, computer sciences, multimedia technology, advertisement, public relation, and CAI package development. The graduates from this program will have knowledge in concepts and techniques in developing multimedia package and be able to suggest and create efficiently database of educational information on the information super highway.
