CONCEPT & GENERAL FEATURES Fiber Laser Tech & IPG Resonator THE PRINCIPLE OF FIBER TECHNOLOGY Fiber lasers use special fiber optics as the active medium with thicknesses of only a few μm producing high performance at optimal beam quality. The mirrors of the resonator are used as Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBGs). Those define the wavelength of a fiber laser being 1080 μm. Emitted light from focused high power laser diodes creates the pump power which is coupled into the resonator by pump couplers and results in the active fiber excitation. The optically and electronically modular designed pumping units are easy to maintain. Opposite to common concepts the "all-in-glass" technology reduces the risk of contamination of the optics and thus a reduction of the beam quality.

CONCEPT & GENERAL FEATURES Machine Frame The frame is completely designed by Uzma R&D team on Solidworks CAD/CAM from the smallest bolt to the main frame. Extensive CAD simulations are performed throughout the design process and stability and rigidity of the frame approved before production. After the design process, frames are cut and welded from high-quality ST-44 A1 grade steel then machined as single piece in high precision machining centers. The double column-high precision machining center allows the complete frame to be machined in a single-pass, thus providing high accuracy and low tolerances. CONCEPT & GENERAL FEATURES CAD / CAM Lantek Expert Cut Laser Technology UZMA Fiber Laser uses Lantek Expert Cut Cad/Cam software by its own postprocessor. There are many features to make cut easier like an automatic nesting and machining, calculation of time/cost, microjoint, common cut etc. All cutting data has been installed to Lantek s tables of technology part. Thus part program which is made a nesting and machining is directly installed on the CNC without any cutting parameter settings. Lantek has also some additional features if it is not able cut like a smaller hole (0,5 x thickness of material) Lantek decides automatically marking.

CONCEPT & GENERAL FEATURES Safety SPECIAL COVERS HEALTH & SAFETY UZMA Fiber Laser is surrounded with a completely closed cabinet and special coated filtering 1080 μm laser wavelength protective windows appropriate for machine and the necessity of human safety. The machine has an easy opening sliding door system for maintenance purposes. Machine and operator safety is achieved by switches on all opening doors.

CONCEPT & GENERAL FEATURES Automatic Loading & Unloading Shuttle Table LOAD / UNLOAD SYSTEMS FOR LASER CUTTING MACHINES Easy and quick loading - unloading with automatic or manual working shuttle table. Continuation of cutting during new sheet preparation provides high productivity. Table alteration time is 35 seconds. This operations is performed by the following components: Metal sheets load to cutting pallet and the cut parts unload with fork system by automation system. Different solutions & dimensions can offer according to different requests. It is possible to load the different kind and different thickness of metal sheets with multi shelf system. Picking the metal sheets from pallets and loading to the table is done by pneumatic vacuum system. Each metal sheet is checked by camera system that controls the thickness of each sheet to prevent pick metal sheet more than one. If the metal sheet thickness different compared to identified value the controller gives error. After the completed cutting process the metal sheets are picked up and carry to collecting pallet by fork unit.

WARRANTY & TECHNICAL SUPPORT UZMA Fiber Laser cutting machine warranty is 2 years from the date of first operation except IPG laser source. Laser source has 3 years warranty. All the necessary after sales service will be provided by UZMA during the warranty period for manufacturing defects and breakdowns. The parts that need to be replaced will be provided by UZMA free of charge during the warranty period. Consumable parts used on Fiber Laser that are described in the maintenance manual are not covered under warranty. Moreover using the machine out of the conditions that are described in the maintenance and user manuals, problems that are caused by unqualified operators and damages that can occur in special conditions. In case of any problems or break downs, the nature of the problem will be tried to be determined by telephone, fax and e-mail. If the problem cannot be solved, UZMA Fiber Laser technical team will go to the customer s plant within two days. After the warranty period, all after sales service and spare parts will be provided by UZMA and will be invoiced to the customer.

INSTALLATION & TRAINING Power-Environment Conditions & Cautitions INSTALLATION Our service technicians ensure a quick and easy installation and start-up of your machine. You are advised of pre-installation preparation and requirements in a timely manner. The installation of Fiber Laser machine will be carried out by UZMA after the machine is delivered to the customer. If the customer wants to purchase the installation service from another service company, UZMA should be informed. After the buyer carries out the liabilities and preparations that are detailed above, UZMA technical team will install the machine and give the operator, user, maintenance and Cad/Cam programming training detailed above. After all the installation and training is finished, acceptance and sufficiency tests will be carried on and the machine will be handed over to the customer.

LASER CUTTING MACHINE LAY-OUT AND WORKING AREA Ambient Temperature: 5-30 C / less than 1,1 C alteration per minute at resonator installation area, Humidity: Less than 75 % Vibration: Less than 0,05G, 5μm Amplitude, Environment: Free from dust and volatile vapor, (neither chemicals nor products of such nature should be around the machine and compressor). Floor: Should be prepared as mentioned on enclosed lay-out plan. CAUTIONS Fiber Lasercutting machine working area is closed to the operator. The movement system has powerful magnets. Unauthorized and unqualified staff should be forbidden to enter the maintenance area. Above mentioned magnets have negative effects on staff members which may have any artificial heart instruments which are battery operated. Staff with such conditions cannot be allowed to perform maintenance. Unauthorized and unqualified staff shouldn t interfere with the machine for own safety. TRAINING AND EDUCATION Machines are only as productive as the operators that run them, the programmers that encode them and the auxiliary technologies that power them. That's why a strong foundational education and ongoing advanced training is crucialparticularly in the fast-paced, technology-driven world of manufacturing. UZMA provide the using, CAD/CAM and maintenance training to the operators following the installation process. It becomes easy to use efficient of Fiber Laser after the training of UZMA Technical Team. Also Fiber Laser customers can ask anything and anytime they wish to the UZMA Technical Dept.

At some point in the life cycle of any production machine, certain parts will have to be replaced due to wear, obsolescence or misuse. Preventative maintenance programs will help in detecting component wear before a failure occurs, but on those rare occasions when a breakdown does halt production, it's vital that replacement parts be close at hand, ready to install. That's why UZMA established a wide range of parts warehouse with constantly updated inventories of spares, ready for immediate delivery, wherever they are needed.
