We will continue to look across our member population to understand their current and future needs, provide actionable insights to help us focus our services, demonstrate our value to new and existing members and customers, and enhance our care delivery analytics and collaboration with the Center for Health Research. Analyst Roles Detail 9 January 21, 2016 2016 Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. 2015 Project Highlights Partnered with Regional Telephonic Medicine Center leaders and KP HealthConnect Application Coordinators to redesign workflow and Epic configuration to maximize reporting and analysis capabilities. Created interactive high cost drug dashboard using Tableau to support regional cost initiative that are being used by Clinical Pharmacy and regional leaders to manage drug utilization. Created a segmentation model to better understand drivers of voluntary member termination and drivers of member retention. Insights incorporated into existing processes and campaigns designed to minimize voluntary terminations. Created new interactive Cognos reports to increase automated reporting available to Imaging Services. Improved on-demand access to information needed for regional Imaging operations and eliminated manual reporting tasks for Imaging analyst. Created utilization management metrics data mart to provide a one stop shop for the region s key UM information needs. Increased trust and reliability of information provided to senior leaders by reducing variation in definitions and calculation methods. Wrote new Java code to streamline and automate the process of migrating new content into Cognos production environment. 2016 Planned Projects Develop a new population heath data mart and interactive Cognos reports that support regional case management, employer group on-site wellness events, quality initiatives, and KP community benefit programs. Respond to new All Payer Claims Database (APCD) regulations in the State of Washington by participating in rule-making processes and writing code to ensure accurate KP data submissions. Introduce near-real time hospital demand and throughput forecast monitors for Kaiser Sunnyside and Westside Medical Centers to better match staffing to anticipated demand. Learn how to leverage new voice analytics software available to data mine incoming Appointment Center and Member Relations call center activity.
