Alipay Payment method guide Alipay is the most widely used third-party online payments service provider in China, with over 100 million daily transactions and over 400 million active users. Its primary product is a digital wallet, Alipay Wallet, which also includes a mobile app that allows customers to conduct transactions directly from their mobile devices. Users typically have a broad range of payment options when paying via Alipay. Owned by commerce conglomerate Alibaba, Alipay provides payment services for major Alibaba ecommerce platforms such as Taobao and Tmall. As the dominant payment method in China, supporting Alipay on your website or app has enormous benefits.
