WP3 ecatalogue Goals WP 3 has the goal to create and test a solution to manage ecatalogues in the framework of cross-border public procurement procedures, both as part of a bid submitted by competing tenderers (pre-award), and as a basis for issuing orders to economic operators (post-award). The ultimate goal of the WP is to contribute to the PEPPOL Project s general goal, and to make so that a significant part of the public procurements are made through cross-border transactions. Page 5
Objectives, Progress and main results Objectives: Specification and implementation of standardized of ecatalogue processes (post award profiles) and contents (pre-award) Creation and testing of building blocks (software solutions) to manage ecatalogues (ec) in public procurement, both in pre- and post-award Progress (October 2010): The specifications of the overall architecture, the single components, and the pre-award data model have been streamlined and developed in alignment with other WPs, concurrently with the software tools to support their implementation Main results (October 2010): Post-award ecatalogue tool ready to support production pilots Pre- award ecatalogue tool ready to start test pilots Cooperation with eprior established Agreement with ecl@ss established Page 6
