The DE-AGEC Advantage The Maricopa County Community College District Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) consists of 35-38 semester-credits that fulfill lower-division general education requirements for students planning to transfer to any Arizona public community college or university. Benefits for completing the AGEC during high school: AGEC transfers as a block to all AZ universities. Completion of AGEC guarantees acceptance to AZ universities. Students complete their General Education requirements before entering the university. Provides foundation for students to build on in working towards an Associates or Bachelors degree.
