Dawn Markling Marist College 30 June 2013 Survey Title: Music Purchase vs. Free Download Population Size: Teenagers and Young Adults, aged 15-29, throughout the United States Sample Size: 2500 Respondents Sample Selection: The sample respondents will be randomly chosen from select high schools, trade schools, technical schools, and colleges throughout the states of New York, California, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, and Alabama. The schools will be randomly chosen from the Department of Education s listings of high schools and colleges within those listed states. These states have been chosen to represent the entire United States population, because these seven states hold the majority of the teenaged and young adult population, according to the US Census Bureau s data from 2012. Survey Length: 4 Pages Time Length: Approximately 12 Minutes
