Usability 6
The New Software Shop New Software Shop with cleaner UI and more end user self-service options The My Software tab provides visibility into all installed packages End user can now see progress of what is being executed at any given time via DSM (AutoInstaller or Service installer) A new search for available packages provides faster results User defined maintenance windows allow end users to determine execution time on their endpoints The Do not disturb feature allows for controlled user postponements on the endpoint Option to download packages to local cache first and install later reduces the overall installation wait times New current status and settings tabs for increased supportability and higher end user productivity 7
The New Software Shop 8
Software Policy Management Ability to deploy packages via Software shop first and later (force) push to all endpoints that have not installed it voluntarily Cancel pending Computer Reinstalls - If a reinstallation of a machine was unintentionally triggered, it can now be undone without losing control over the managed computer Proper handling of conflicting policies via policy priority (multiassignment with different revisions or parameters) Software replacement and updates within revisions triggering the uninstall of the previous package before installing the new revision Trigger an emergency rollout on any specific endpoint applying changes on the endpoint within seconds Pilot installations to update not yet released revisions in order to verify new package revisions before they go into production with rollback option 9
